We had a great time at François place. It is such a peaceful little village in the middle of nowhere with an amazing view to the mountains. If you want to escape the city life and connect back to nature this is the perfect place for it. They grow their own vegetables and you can also find some animals on the property. There are some trails to explore and also it is possible to reserve the Kolkol for one night and gaze at the mountains and the stars. Very special place built up with a lot of love.

Marianne, the owner of the studio is a helpful, heartwarming person with a really fast respond time. Even if the studio connects to the garden (which is beautiful) it’s very private and you have your own little backyard It was great, we recommend!

My husband and I stayed at The Birdhouse for our 22nd wedding anniversary weekend. We love it there. Everything in the garden and accommodation is so thoughtfully and tastefully arranged, down to the smallest detail. The peaceful, aptly-named Birdhouse is a perfect base from which to explore Stanford. It was an easy walk from the house to the river and through the village to the Saturday market and various shops along the main road like Stanford Kitchen (where we had delicious coffees and the best pastéis de nata), Klein River Cheese Shop (where we tasted several cheeses, including an amazing oak-smoked Stanford), and Madre for a wonderful Sunday breakfast. It was great to braai when we arrived on Friday night. We slept very well in the total dark on a very comfortable bed. The hot shower works well. Kitchen well-equipped. Saturday night we drove to Springfontein Wine Estate, less than ten minutes away, for a superb dinner. Service was excellent there - and everywhere in Stanford.

We really enjoyed our time at the cottage. it was quiet and peaceful but close enough to all major sites and lots of restaurants. The cottage is well furnished and has more than everything you could need for a shor or long stay. The garden and patio are well furnished and make for a relaxing chill spot after a long day of sightseeing. Our pets were also well accommodated for and had a wonderful time playing in the garden.

The absolute magnitude of though effort and care that goes into this unit is unlike anything i have EVER seen. Been at many very expensive units and hotels that dont cater or care 10% as much. Kudos to Nina and Monica who went out of their way with everything! Super chuffed. Will be back no doubt.

Kyle’s place is absolutely incredible! The views alone are worth the stay—truly breathtaking. The house itself is spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained. Everything was fresh and inviting, from the clean linens to the lovely scent throughout the home. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made our stay even more comfortable. Kyle was an outstanding host—extremely responsive and helpful, always quick to reply to any questions we had. We genuinely wish we had a couple more days to soak in both the house and the charm of Hermanus. Without a doubt, we 100% recommend Kyle’s place to anyone planning a trip to Hermanus!

Recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Silver Vos in Hermanus, and it was absolutely amazing. The villa offers breathtaking views of the mountains, ocean, and night sky — a truly peaceful retreat with nature right on your doorstep. The apartment is tastefully decorated and included thoughtful amenities like board games (including 30 Seconds) and even fresh milk in the fridge. It had all the luxuries and comforts of home, making it very hard to leave! The hosts were also incredibly attentive and welcoming. Can’t wait to come back for our next visit.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is well located in Hermanus, very close to the beach (only a few mins before you ca dip your toes in the water) and there's a lovely beach bar/restaurant called 'Dutchies' at a stone throw distance. What really was my highlight was the amazing braai and the long table in the courtyard. You can truly throw a nice braai here!

We had a fantastic stay Net Net house in Witsand! The location was perfect – right in a lovely estate with breathtaking views of the river.
