Perfect getaway spot in beautiful Hermanus! The location is fantastic –private, and close to town (walking distance). The firewood hot tub was such a treat, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

A get away we didn’t know we needed. We spent two nights, and we are looking forward to going back. The breakfasts baskets are lovely, the staff are friendly, the cottage is stunning and the surroundings are so very pretty.

Had a lovely stay at the cottage. Special views to enjoy, well equipped home, uncluttered yet including most of what makes a break comfortable. Particularly impressed by kitchen equipment, cutlery, crockery quality - makes for convenient self catering. Location good and plenty of activities nearby. Very suitable for a couple or family of 4 but might feel a bit crowded with six adults in the space. But certainly a wonderful break away

The cottage was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated—exactly as described. Surrounded by nature, it was peaceful and relaxing, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

We had such a magical long weekend! This beautiful home wasn’t just the perfect getaway—it was the perfect fit for our family. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we loved every second. We were all so sad to leave! The location is ideal—central to Malgas and close to local restaurants and the shop, all surrounded by the most stunning natural beauty. The house is incredibly well-stocked and peaceful. We especially appreciated how sound doesn’t travel through the house easily—a huge bonus when you’ve got lively little ones! Having access to the two-man kayak was a real treat. The weather played along, and we spent hours paddling on the river—it was absolute bliss. We’ll definitely be back! Before we even arrived we were upgraded to a bigger unit which was absolutely fantastic. Mary knew it was just me and my toddler and gave us a big unit so my son had loads of space to run, be safe and feel at home. The unit, Brown Cow, was super comfortable, spacious and private. I cannot wait to go back and take the whole family again. Location is kinda perfect, you have a small ocean view from the patio and garden with a awesome braai area. Walking to the sea is so easy, it's just behind the Arniston hotel and takes less than two minutes to walk to the old harbour and the beach. The fact that the units are serviced each morning is fantastic. We were very sad to leave and felt so at home.

A wonderful cottage with absolutely amazing views. Felt at home right away. Host went out of their way to accommodate a small request and as a bonus we were not affected by the power outage in the area due to the solar system and batteries installed. I can highly recommend, we will be back.

A proper farm - protea flowers - but only 30 minute scenic drive to nearest large town (Stanford) and 15 minute drive to nearest small village. We (2 adults + 2 small dogs) enjoyed our walks, dips in the river ponds, and sunsets and sunrises, in short, a nice getaway. Lindsay was friendly, interesting and attentive, a great host.

Our stay in Arniston was fantastic! Not only did Jo contact me after my booking was made, but sent clear and easy to follow instructions regarding the check in as well what was supplied and what needed to bring. Upon arrival the house was clean, welcoming and cozy. We were a larger group but had lovely weather and the courtyard was perfect for the kids to play in - Jo even organised a camp cot for our baby. Jo thinks of the finer details, and Rovina is always willing to help as well. Feel free to book - our stay was fantastic! Thank you Jo and Rovina!

Beautiful house where we immediately felt at home. Everything looked exactly like in the pictures. The garden was very nice with an amazing pool, the kids loved to run around. The Communication with the host was very good, fast and helpful. The house is located next to some small nice local deli’s, and restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. We really recommend this place!

Ferdi and Melissa’s place exceeded all of our expectations! They went over and above to accommodate our needs and situation. This place is better than the pictures. And the location is prime! We would stay here again 10 times over. Ferdi helped with the fireplace on multiple occasions. If you’re staying in the winter, the only thing might be that there is no central heat, however, the fireplace is just the perfect touch for the place. If you’re looking for a high level stay with high level hosts and picturesque views, then this is the place for you!

We had a lovely, peaceful and restful stay. It was quiet, beautiful views and scenery. The cottage was very well equipped, clean snd super cosy. We slept well too. We loved the comfy dining chairs the most, could sit and read in them all day, with that stunning view infront on you. We'd recommended to anyone looking to escape a busy life for a few days.

Such a cute quaint little town to escape into. The house was incredible, super clean and great views and surrounded by nature. Stay here if you want to escape to quiet, beautiful little town with not a whole lot going on. Only a couple restaurants (at the corner was amazing)!

The house was big enough for us not to be tripping over each other, but also small enough to still be cozy and comfortable. Thank you for checking in on us like you did, and for sharing all that you did. The property is incredible, and being out on the deck that overlooks the river, with a cup of coffee in the early morning is a must! The house was freezing - but once the fore was lit and we'd had a glas of red wine - we were all good :) Beds were comfortable, and the electric blankets made night times very pleasant. The house is an easy walk into town - and very well located. We'd definitley stay here again - especially with a group of friends.

Die Stal…a small piece of heaven on earth. We loved this gem of an Airbnb. Whoever created this beautiful space, clearly has an eye for design, layout, style and quality. I felt so at home, as if you were staying somewhere in the Alps in Germany. We loved everything about this accommodation. The location is excellent, as we did a hike in Marloth Nature Reserve. Town is super close, should you wish to eat out and explore Swellendam. We however, loved sitting at the braai, enjoying our sundowners and simply soaking up being so close to the mountains, with the cows keeping us company. It’s an all round exceptional place to stay. The attention to detail is superb. You feel spoiled and looked after. We loved the sweet treat of the marshmallows. This Airbnb gets 10/10 from us! We would love to come back one day!
