Condo vacation rentals in Canterbury

The host, Norman, was just so easy to communicate with. He answered several questions that I asked and provided the information that I needed. You are so close to the beautiful walking path along the ocean. The village has many shops and along the path near his place are markets to hike through and eat at. You have a lot of space with large ceilings.

Excellent value for money pad with plenty of space and everything you need. Walking distance to the sea and Deal town centre with shops, restaurants and pubs. Everything was very very clean and well looked after. We especially like the bright and airy loft room. Thanks for hosting us!

Sue was terrific. She could not have been more accommodating when our party of 3 became 4 (to include a young grandson) and she provided us with cereals and goodies for him and a bed guard rail. Her lovely apartment is beautiful, light, airy and comfortably furnished with excellent quality appliances and fixtures/fittings. The beds were wonderfully comfortable. A superbly designed and appointed apartment. Thank you Sue. Our stay was short but perfect.

We really enjoyed staying in Julia’s lovely and stylish flat. It easily slept us four adults and our three toddlers and the amenities were very clean and nice. Julia was very proactive and helpful before and after check-in and full of good recommendations.

Lovely flat close to the town centre, the beach and the Harbour Arm. We drove to Folkestone and were able to park our car outside the flat free of charge for our entire stay which was great. George was a fantastic host, who responded quickly when needed - we had a problem with getting in to the flat one evening but the lock was fixed quickly by a Locksmith and George turned up to check that the problem was resolved and that we were happy. We'd definitely recommend both the flat and George to anyone looking for accommodation in the centre of Folkestone.

Fiona’s flat was perfect for a two night stay. Tucked away at the bottom of Mermaid Street, we were minutes away from Lamb House and the beautiful High Street whilst enjoying the peace and quiet inside the flat. The flat is gorgeously decorated and has everything you could need. Check in was simple and Fiona’s instructions made finding the flat very easy. Rye is lovely with lots to see and do and great food and drink a stones throw away. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again or recommend to friends and family. Thank you Fiona!

Had a great stay here, could not ask for a better location. So many good places to eat nearby and very close to the beach. Vicky and Laura were great with communication and the whole stay was super easy. Would recommend!

John was a great host and responded quickly to the one question we had. His instructions were clear and helpful so finding the place and getting in was made easy. The flat was very clean and uncluttered. It was quiet but close to the shops, restaurants, harbour and beach. The patio garden was a big plus. Nice comfortable bed and good shower. Loved the flat and would like to return soon.

Lovely apartment within walking distance of everything you might need. Coop opposite, 10 minutes to beach and main High Street. I parked in the Coop car park for £2.50 a day! All in all the perfect location. Tamara was immediately responsive for a query I had.

We had a short 4 night break at Walpole Heights to get away from London and switch off from work. The apartment was immaculately presented and a great spot to access the beach and local area. Free on-street parking right outside the apartment for the two cars was also useful. The apartment is spacious and tasefully decorated. We (including the dog) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. At night it is very quiet. On arrival we went across the road to the Walpole Bay Hotel and sat on the terrace for afternoon tea. A perfect location!

Great property and host.

Nice and relaxing place. Very well equipped especially the kitchen area. Welcoming big basket, even milk and butter in the fridge and ice cream. A little bit more cleaning needed and carpets especially. But a great ans beautiful place to stay, very friendly and communicative hosts.

The flat is very conveniently located in the town centre with a 10 minute walk to the beach / harbour with shops pubs and restaurants close at hand. We appreciated the recommendations Karen provided. The flat was clean and comfortable with all the facilities required for a long weekend stay like ours. We’d happily stay here again. Public transport links are very good so it was nice not to have to use the car during our stay!

Great property. Pics don’t do it justice. We really felt at home. Super close to the beach and park for the dogs. So many amenities, even a spare toothbrush - which i had forgotten at home. Thank you for having us.

great spot to explore Margate and was all very easy to get into the flat etc

We have never been to Herne Bay . As it such fine weather ,and rather than me paying silly prices for a hotel in London, we found this gem . It very near the beach and the facilities Herne Bay had to offer were fantastic , both busy and quiet and great notices of local facts eg Amy Johnson. Also easy walk from railway station. Followed up the hosts recommendation of local facilities and saw fabulous sunset from the pub . The host answered very quickly the one query we had . Would recommend for even singles, as it felt a safe area , as well as couples with or without children, or in our case a doggy . All facilities for him also .

The building and apartment is quirky but lovely. It’s surprisingly peaceful considering the lounge is right next to a main road. No stairs to climb. Real bonus to have a parking space. The bedrooms have an outlook straight into the garden, which is also a great space to sit out in. No one overlooks you. Some nice touches like tea, coffee, perfume, cotton pads and shopping bags. Only a 5/10 minute walk into Canterbury which has everything you could want including it’s beautiful Cathedral.

Amazing last minute stay! Amenities and extras were brilliant, had everything we needed and more. As for the flat itself, it was very spacious, homely and so much natural light. The views were the selling point and they didn’t disappoint! Nikki was a great host, responded fast and would do anything to make the stay special. Can’t wait to return!
