Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Cannon Beach

Had another amazing week with the family this year! This makes two years staying here and we will be back for a third. Unbeatable location, views, and house.

We stayed for my Bachelorette party weekend over Memorial Day. We were looking for a home that was in a more mellow area than Cannon Beach or Manzanita and this fit the bill perfectly. There were 6 of us and everyone had plenty of space and great nights rest. The home was spotless and comfortable with even more amenities in the kitchen than listed and expected. The 2 minute walk to the semi private beach was lovely and having access to all the beach chairs was a great touch. I hope to be back here next summer!

Wonderful place to stay. Extremely nice and remodeled

A nice cottage by the ocean. The beach is steps away. Obvious thought went into design and amenities. Beach kitsch, but in a good way. Everything is new and maintained. The location is probably between where the masses go, as Cannon Beach is north and Tillamook is south. If you're staying any length, you might want to bring in a bunch of food, as the kitchen is set up. A great hang by the Pacific Ocean.

Our first time staying at Rockaway and it was amazing! The space was exactly as described; comfortable, peaceful and it truly felt like home. It was kid-friendly, which made a big difference for our family and we we felt completely at ease the entire time. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach and tucked away in a quiet area. Check-in was smooth and communication was easy and responsive. This will be our goto every time we stay at Rockaway.

There are a lot of great things to say about this cozy home. The best part is the proximity to the beach. Furthermore, the part of the beach we accessed easily from the home was further away from the more touristy access point, without sacrificing an amazing view of Haystack Rock. It was relaxing with all the comforts we needed. The gas fireplace made the living room so cozy, especially after coming back from watching the sunset on the beach. We were minutes away from the restaurants and shopping yet far enough away to have very peaceful evenings. I would definitely book this again!

This place was great! Super cute and comfy and the fact that it’s a real person that obviously cares about the Home shows. Nothing worse than a place that’s run by a third-party and you can tell when you walk in they don’t have a connection to the place. When you walk into this house, you can tell somebody loves it. The views from every window are amazing. I couldn’t decide which room I wanted to hang out in. As soon as you turn on the TV, guess what pops up immediately! - If you don’t watch short circuit in the short circuit house, you’ve got to be crazy. Everything was perfectly clean. Bathrooms were nice. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was really cute and had everything we needed. It felt like the kind of place you wished you could stay a week instead of a day. We even canceled our dinner plans to be able to spend more time there just enjoying each other’s company and the nostalgic atmosphere. If you are a 80’s nostalgia nerd, this place is perfect. Would definitely stay again!

The location of the property is amazing. The views were stunning. It was also very private, the beach was not crowded (very few people). So you basically have the beach to yourself and you are only a 5-7 minute drive from Cannon Beach. The property itself is very nice and well kept. It has absolutely everything you need. It has a ton of sleeping room and sufficient bathrooms. It feels like a luxury cottage. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Secluded and peaceful, with big windows and a beautiful view. Inside, the furnishings were clean, comfortable, and updated. I spent a lot of time sitting outside in the lush lawn area with a cup of tea. Perfect for one or two travelers who want a taste of the green Tillamook countryside. Great alternative to the hotel accommodations in the area for business travelers!

The unit is on the end, which was nice. Proximity to beach was amazing. They were patient with me asking a question which was posted in the instructions (Internet password). I blame me being old and tired, and I had forgotten my reading glasses. Later I found the password also posted on the wall. Still, the sent the info to me again. Its a little on the pricey side, but it's an excellent location.

This was our third stay at Whiskey Creek, and it was just as lovely as ever! We enjoyed the peaceful setting on Netarts Bay, and were fortunate to enjoy perfect weather. It’s an incredibly beautiful and relaxing place to stay. Allison was a wonderful host, as always! Our only regret was that we couldn’t stay longer.

This place is absolutely stunning and has a gorgeous interior. Clearly loved and taken care of, it’s the perfect stop if you want to experience all that Astoria has to offer. Jacob was so kind and responsive- we felt safe and right at home with our 5 month old baby. Despite being right in the city our little guy slept great and with the noise machine wasn’t woken up by traffic. Definitely worth the price for an unforgettable place!

This place was great! We rode bikes to everything, that was so nice! The house was well appointed, in a great location, clean and so cozy!

The condo was a perfect spot for our girls trip. We had comfy beds and room the relax after a day of hiking. There was plenty of walkable places and great central location to hiking trails. We loved it!

Staying at Carrie's Place was truly a treasure. Private studio overlooking the Depoe Bay Harbor and the charter boats going in and out. The Whale Bites Cafe was very convenient in front of the studio space. Comfy bed, coffee maker, microwave, and mini fridge made our stay easy.

Melanie & KC, Thank you for the amazing hospitality. The photos do not give Neskowin justice. To be able to walk outside from the back door and onto the beach…unbelievable! Will most likely be making this a yearly trip!

The setting couldn't be better. It had everything we needed. It was practically our own beach. (We were right there before Memorial Day - beaches were almost empty.) Stunning unobstructed views. My foot expert told me to do barefoot walks on the beach + get my feet in the ocean. (I've had issues with my feet). Very healing. The sunsets were NUTS. Last time we stayed in this building (different unit), we were treated to two sightings of a bald eagle gliding over the beach on our last day. I was hoping that would happen again -it did. That's a well-trained eagle - this time landing in the creek that empties into the sea. It hit its mark perfectly! 🙃 Maybe rubber-backed mats in the bathrooms. We kept bunching them up. Maybe change the sign by the door? This may be our last visit to this marvelous place, as our knees are going south. We are ancient! PERFECT place for people with good knees. Our dumb knees are the only thing that would keep us away. Maybe with PT we'll be back! 🌊🌊🌊

This place was a dream. The view was incredible - pictures were beautiful but seeing it in person was a whole other experience! Place was as described, hosts were responsive. 10/10 definitely will be coming back.

This was our second time staying as a family. It was great. We didn’t realize last time that they had blankets and toys for kids to take to the beach out on the front patio. That was super cool! We also took advantage of BBQ.

This rental is absolutely stunning and everything was as described or better.!! The location was convenient. The view was incredible! We watched an amazing sunset from the deck. The firepit was well equipped and convenient. Christy was outstanding with communication and offered assistant with any additional needs. Excellent hosts!!! Would highly recommend.

Internet was down which made it impossible for us to get into the unit. But Victor called us immediately with an alternative and we were in shortly after. His responsiveness was so quick it didn’t make a dent in our check in. The condo is situated beach side with gorgeous views. Clean, comfortable and the fireplace was a nice touch for cozy cool evenings. Wasy walk to shops and restaurants. Will visit again.

Started out shaky due to cleaning service, not Austin. The unit cleaning was incomplete, no bed linens etc dirty linens piled in front of W/D closet after long day of travel arriving in the dark of night. Austin quickly responded and offered emergency clean the next morning, refunded cleaning fee and partial refund of rental. After check out the cleaning service did come to the rescue securing a watch left behind-so all in all great response. Unit is dated but sort of family beach vintage. It’s comfortable with easy beach access. We had a great stay and enjoyed evening wine on top floor with partial water view.
