Sea Forest Retreat - Little coastal house

Welcome to our clean, cozy Sea Forest Retreat, constructed in 2018. It is a studio space ideal and most comfortable for 2 but can sleep up to 4 people. Large windows and high vaulted ceilings make this small but modern house feel big. Enjoy the tranquility with nice outdoor seating areas nestled among greenery in a residential neighborhood. Manzanita and the beach are 1.5 miles and Nehalem 2 miles away. Dogs (2 dogs maximum) are welcome for a $45 fee. We have a small desk for remote work.

Our family friendly cottage is nestled just a block away from Neahkanie Beach (the north end of Manzanita beach) and is the perfect retreat for your next getaway. With partial ocean views from every west-facing window, your family can enjoy a short walk to the beach and experience the beauty of the coast. Rinse off in the outdoor shower and warm up in the 7 person hot tub. Enjoy a cozy wood-burning fireplace for stormy days or take in breathtaking sunsets on the deck with a glass of wine.

300 feet above the ocean on sacred Neahkahnie Mountain, 30 feet above the ground. Built by hand with love in 1985. Look out thru giant Sitka spruce and Douglas fir, south & west to the ocean. Look up from the sleeping loft through a huge skylight to the night stars and moon. Leave urban culture behind. Retreat into a world where the rest of nature speaks loudly. Yet only minutes away from Manzanita and the beach.
