Our self contained annex sits in a Peaceful & Rural location with stunning countryside views of the bluebell woodlands beyond. Located only 3 miles from the historic town of Henley on Thames and within view of the beautiful National Trust’s Grey’s Court, we are ideally located to explore the local area whilst remaining secluded away from the hustle and bustle . Walkers & bikers are spoilt for choice with footpaths leading from the garden including one that leads to a wonderful local pub.

A relaxing retreat close to the Thames.

The Studio is a self contained space attached to our home. It has an open plan area with a kitchen, dining , sitting and sleeping space as well as a separate shower room. Access is through a private entrance at the front of the house. Purley on Thames is a small village in West Berkshire with good access to Reading, Pangbourne and Oxford by car. The Studio is a 10 min walk away from Mapledurham Lock on the Thames path and there are also some lovely walks through nearby Sulham woods.

The house was 'created' in 2020 having originally been part of the village pub - its now part of a redeveloped property which also includes the owners home and a fabulous cafe called Artichoke Cafe The property is right in the heart of the picturesque riverside village of Pangbourne with its fabulous specialist shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Yet only ten minutes walk gets you to the countryside! The village also boasts a mainline station with direct trains to London Paddington.

A cosy and contemporary apartment with private access, en-suite bathroom (shower) and fully equipped kitchen. Set on the edge of the Chilterns there are lots of country walks and we are close to the Red Lion pub with its excellent food and local beers. Perfectly located for Henley-on-Thames, approximately 4 miles away, which is ideal for the Regatta and many of the other festivals held in the area. Windsor is a 30 minute drive away and Reading and Oxford are also easily accessible.
