Monthly Rentals in Candé

Great stay in a bucolic place, a home full of charm, surrounded by meadows, animals... a really welcoming, peaceful and rejuvenating place. We had a wonderful time there. Our daughter of almost 2 years blossomed there, the environment, nature and its animals, the toys available to her. And then the small dishes of local products cooked by Catherine! Delicious! A great hostess, available, responsive and attentive. We would love to come back and enjoy it even more!!

What a find, beautiful peaceful house and garden, even better than the photos show. Maria couldn’t be more helpful and speaks good English. We came with two teenage boys and they loved having the hot tub and the pool. So much wildlife - to listen to the owls and see so many butterflies, counting 23 on one bush was a delight. The area is quite rural within walking distance of the Candé where we enjoyed eating an array of goodies from the Boulangerie and having morning coffee outside the Bar. There is a Super U in the town too although the local shop is very well stocked where we bought lovely rabbit and prune kebabs and sirloin steak for the BBQ. We enjoyed going to the Blue Mine, Nantes with the Machine des Lille’s and cycling along le Loire hiring bikes in Ouden. Walking along Le Havre river from the cafe in Oudon was also a highlight. A trip to Vitré on the way back to the ferry was wonderful with bric a brac sales on Sunday. Lots of good wine, food and fun. Thank you very much 😊
