Marie France and Claude are very charming hosts! The accommodation, clean and spacious, is very well located, on the edge of a canal where you can walk or cycle along the banks, 3 km from Coulon, the capital of the Poitevin Marsh (pleasant village with grocery store, restaurants - Le Central is very good, bakery, boat rides, walks/hikes on foot...), 10 km from Niort and its dungeon, 20 min from the Abbey of Maillezais (very good), 30 min from the 13th century Château de Coudray-Sablard In short, we had a very pleasant week at Marie France and Claude's in the heart of nature between walking, rest and culture.

Wow, what a lovely space Jack and Sylvian have created! So tasteful and stylish with personal touches that made staying there such a pleasure. Bed was super comfy and great shower too. Perfect place to visit La Rochelle and of course the Mariais Poitevin, a truly idyllic spot.

We spent two nights! Julien is a very friendly, considerate and available host! Everything is well thought out, nothing is missing and the place is very nice! I think I'll be back next year!☺️
