Beautiful place to stay

Amazing experience in a real castle full of history! Surrounded by objects with a story to tell! Wonderful visit of this one! A very large number of rooms permanently accessible to guests! Super location in a peaceful village near the beautiful city of Dijon and the Burgundy Wine Route!

Christian and Candelaria are great hosts. They suggest a rare experience of sharing their own home with them, which represents the original idea of Airbnb. At the same time, guests have enough privacy since they occupy the second floor of the house with separate bedrooms, bathroom and a small dining area. A microwave and tableware are provided. In order to cook your own food you are allowed to use hosts' kitchen downstairs. In the morning the hosts serve very nice breakfast for you, which is really thoughtful. The communication was easy. We enjoyed every conversation. The old city worth a walk at least once at night and once in the daytime. Highly recommended!

To get to the castle is better to put in the GPS Chateu de Rosieres rather than the address in the description. But even without it is well indicated in the village so we reached we not problems. The minute we walked in we felt very welcomed by Bertrand, he is the kindest host i've met, got even upgraded for free to a better room in the castle instead of in the courtyard. The castle itself feels exactly as you would expect from a medieval castle of the 13th century. Appreciate the tour and booklets about the history. Even if the common spaces may feel a bit unfinished, the rooms were impeccably clean and organized. Also, it is warm and not humid at all. With bad weather outside the bathtub was great to have. We didnt spend much time outside, just enough to meet the donkey and the goat in the back. Very friendly. Great location to have a relaxing weekend, a couple walks in the countryside but also close enough to cities like dijon and besancon. Recommend passing by Beze.

We are always looking for places that have the special, the extraordinary. Hotels and rooms that resemble each other like an egg the other is like sand by the sea. Josette makes you feel like you're staying in a small museum. The location is great, you can reach Sens train station in about 15 minutes, from which you can take the SNCF directly to Paris on non-stop. Nearby (30-60 mins by car) there are many historical attractions. If you're a guest of Josette, don't miss the great dinner. Trditional French cuisine in perfection, we enjoyed the multi-course dinner, it was just a pity that we couldn't eat at Madame's place on 2 days as we had taken longer trips. We had a great night at Flore's, very welcoming and attentive hosts, discreet and available for all the necessary information! A beautiful setting, a very pretty house decorated with care, the rooms are spacious and comfortable... the kettle and the coffee/tea/herbal tea kit, as well as the bottle of water in the room were a significant plus... a large living space upstairs, next to the bedrooms, very nice to meet outside the bedrooms... with a magnificent view! Breakfasts were very hearty and very good. Our hosts told us about a great restaurant, with very good value for money and close to the guest room! Great stay.

Warm and very welcoming people, a perfect stay.

We travelled with our granddaughters aged 5 and six and a half, and spent one night and one very fun morning at Maison de Souhey, and it was too short. At risk of repeating what other guests have said in their reviews: Michel and Asja are friendly welcoming hosts, and altogether really nice people. Asja welcomed us with a smile and immediately took the girls to feed carrots to the horses. Their place is set in a beautiful and peaceful location - a group of buildings on farmland. The meals - barbecue in the evening and breakfast the next day, a fresco on the terrace - were prepared by them and we and the girls were happy we opted for them. And the pool was a big plus. We recommend Asja and Michel wholeheartedly.

A beautiful place to stay - perfect as a rest stop on our way home. The apartment is really great. Every detail has been thought about and designed. The breakfast was also delicious!

Very nice Host (Aurore) to replace the usual Host. Very friendly and very welcoming. Room and breakfast were great! Just beware of very large cars, which may not be easy through the narrow gate. For the rest, a great experience.

Lydia is a great host, welcoming, available and good tips for city tours. The location is ideal, close to all amenities, the typical Sennonese house is manifest, very quiet, the room is comfortable with good bedding. It was perfect from every point of view, couldn't have hoped for better! I highly recommend this slice of paradise in the heart of the best of the city and very peaceful.
