This house is in the most STUNNING location with AMAZING views. We arrived early hours and Tiago was more than helpful at this time. We were told of the house’s rich religious history which is reflected in the artwork and decor of the house. 7 of us stayed for 8 days 2 couples and 3 teens More than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and more than enough room for 10 people. The grounds had fig, Apple and lemon trees which we were told we are more than welcome to use. Aldi and Lidl were a 15 minute drive (we rented a car) which was perfect for evening barbecues (huge wood oven outside as well as small grills) The pool was stunning, we spent most days in there from morning till night. It’s a great size and easy to shade with umbrellas if needed. We left our inflatables there for the next person, which someone had also done before we arrived, which was a nice touch. We can’t thank Tiago enough for an amazing 8days. Will defo visit again

Quiet place in a very small village, with intimacy and a lot of nature to enjoy, the jacuzzi from outside we take advantage even in bad weather without any problem, there is room at the door of the house to park 2 or 3 cars without problem.

Great accommodation and great host, we felt right at home. Fernando and his wife are great people. We enjoyed our stay and the house was super comfortable. We hope to come back very soon.

We had a fantastic day in Esmeralda's house! It is a beautiful and well connected village: one hour from Vigo e moi perto de Paredes de Coura, Ponte de Lima ou Arcos de Valdevez. In the house, with traditional architecture, it is well restored moi. It's nice and comfortable, well decorated, with a good bathroom and all kinds of garments and utensils for cooking. Or pillow mattress and as pillows are comfortable and with bed roupa and towels are prefectas. Or Cardin and beautiful and has sun loungers, tables and cadeiras to enjoy outdoor tamén do. Esmeralda foi friendly and polite. We'll turn around for sure!

Silvio is gracious and friendly and the garden is beautiful. He left us fresh eggs one morning and we loved the hot tub. Definitely recommend Silvio’s place.

we were very nice the whole family a functional cute house the house owners live on and if you need them don't hesitate to help.te had the detail of leaving in the fridge a bottle of water and wine. if we ever come back in the area from catalunya we will definitely go,a pleasure to enjoy their place both good you could have a house like this,thanks

What an amazing gem of a restored stone house right on the banks of the river! It way exceeded my expectations. The location is supreme and is just practically on top of the secret waterfall and swimming hole which I had to myself. I'd love to come back during the rainy season and see it then too. Truly magical. Highly recommended.

great location: close to bouro lands, close to the river, quiet place. the host left plenty of wood which allowed to light a fireplace and warm the house.

Happy stay, the house is beautiful and clean. Pool is very good with sun loungers. Fruit trees and a river. The house offers very fun board games for kids, so it makes the house great for bringing kids.

If you're looking for peace and serenity, go for it. Secluded at an altitude of 800m in unspoiled nature, you will have a breathtaking slideshow. You will see wild animals during your walks or 2 steps from your accommodation. 15 min from the Ponte de Lima, you will find everything you will need. Rosa and her husband are extremely kind and we had the opportunity to make us offer local specialties when we woke up. The accommodation is very well equipped. We had a gorgeous stay at Matriz’s villa and the view from the pool area was absolutely breathtaking - better than the photos. Matriz was a lovely host who did everything he could to ensure we enjoyed the stay. Highly recommend.

Magnificent! A perfect weekend in a wonderful place. The house is located in the village of Cabana Maior, super well framed and with plenty of privacy. It has a wonderful view! It has all the amenities. D. Gabriela is friendly and always ready to help! Definitely a place to come back to.

We spent a week in this marvelous little house. It was just as expected, cozy, quiet, and super cute. Cristina and her family are very helpful and pleasant. It was a fantastic vacation!!! Fully recommended, a 10!!!!

We loved the outdoor dining room and the wonderful little community on a hill. The location is not necessarily super remote, or quiet, but makes up for this by having a great, central location in Pina Geres and being right next to really cool little beaches and a short drive from the beautiful waterfalls up in the mountains.

An enchanted space! The Quinta’s green gate opens to a moss covered cobblestone alley cooled by vine arches leading up to the house. The old house is charming and very spacious. Big bedrooms and generous bathrooms with views onto trees. Formal and wild gardens surround the house and continue up the hill to a secluded fresh water swimming pool with a beautiful view over the valley offering complete seclusion and tranquility. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook family meals for big eaters and the fridge freezer is big enough to cool plenty of beer supplies needed to enjoy (or endure) the Euro 24 games and election night. João is a generous and enthusiastic host, never intruding but always there when needed. For our visit to Porto we used the handy Arentim train station to get straight into Porto centre - cheap, clean train, in time and stress free! With plenty of spaces to enjoy our company and spaces to seek solitude, all of us had a much needed rest in magical surroundings!

We had a very nice stay at Paul's house. They were very friendly and made check-in and check-out easy for us. The house is very well equipped, the property is very well maintained and the environment is very cozy and quiet. A great experience

The house is situated in the middle of nature, surrounded by a serene landscape and with a charming view of a small creek. The proximity to nature has provided us with incredible peace and quiet, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the city's fast-paced pace. Neighbors were always friendly and available, which made us feel really welcome. And for those who like animals, this place is a true paradise — we saw several species, which only made the experience even more authentic. On arrival, we were greeted with a warm gesture from the host, who left local wine and honey for us making us feel even more welcome. In addition, the house was extremely comfortable and well-equipped, always staying warm thanks to the air conditioning, ideal for the coolest nights. It's never happened to me since I've been renting houses, but I would have given it 10 stars out of 5 without hesitation. The house is beautiful, peaceful, it perfectly combines the old and the new giving the villa in the eucalyptus a heavenly feel. The pool is very large and the sunsets are breathtaking. But that's about the house. The owners are just as amazing. They adapted to my setbacks and were supportive throughout the stay. Thanks for that :)
