Not to mention how caring and thoughtful the hosts are. I really appreciated all the information and availability from start to finish. It had everything you needed including hot water bottles! We had a great stay. I chose the place for the view and wasn't disappointed. The flat is well appointed and a great place to walk along the sea front. We relaxed in the lounge as a family in the evenings. There is on street parking outside the property where you can park for free. We used the nearby train station rather than walk to the old town in Hastings but there were also plenty of buses.

We had such an amazing stay in Moyra’s apartment , it was just as described and more ! Such a cool place and waking up to that view well …. Location is great with an easy stroll into town and a great pub less than 10 mins walk . All her recommendations were great and we look forward to returning later in the year

We rented the apartment for 6 of us to celebrate my sisters 50th birthday. Very comfortable, clean and great location for exploring St Leonards and Hastings. Easy roadside parking outside the apartment. Lovely beach and easy walking distance for exploring. Especially loved Hastings old town, St Leonards galleries and the Goat for lunch and cocktails on the beach is a must.

We had a great time staying at this Airbnb for the weekend. The place was comfortable, well-maintained, and exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommended!

Island View was a fab place to stay and Lorna was a 5* host! All was cleaned and tidy, accurately described with easy to find instructions Herne Bay was new to us, but walks to Whitstable, fabulous views, sea swimming at Margate, etc, etc made us really want to return Thanks for everything Lorna!!

We stayed here for a week and it was a great location for us , the property was warm , clean and relaxing during our stay . Will definitely stay again when back in Hastings. Thank you .

We had an absolutely wonderful week in this great property- the direct access to the beach is very special - and the house is a real home, furnished for comfortable living rather than rental. Lots of gorgeous walks near by - great golf course up the road, handy EV charging point 2 mins walk away, and Ashford designer shopping outlet 30 mins drive away.

Absolutely one of the best stays we’ve had with Airbnb. We loved Sam’s house from the spacious living room and dining room that could seat several families to the gorgeous backyard and extra rooms with en suite bathrooms in the back. We will definitely be back!

This is such a fantastic house for a big group! There's plenty of communal space. Both the house and garden are gorgeous. The rooms are lovely - with brilliant views of the sea. And Jane is so helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend staying here!

What. A. Gem.! Unbelievable location. Unbelievable house! Quiet and convenient, yet right on the beachfront and in the middle of town. With very convenient private parking.

Lovely property with plenty to do a short walk away. Ideal for our family with my mother with some mobility issues.

The tips in your house guide were also very helpful, the location was perfect and we enjoyed the walk along the coast to Reculver fort. We would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back. Our time at Anna’s place was absolutely wonderful. The views are unbelievable, especially being able to see the sea from bed. The place is nicely decorated and the sofa is super comfortable! Some milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were also there on arrival, a thoughtful touch. The wifi was a bit slow and the shower hose could be a bit longer to make showering in the bath easier, but honestly these are the only improvements I can think of - it was a fantastic stay and we would happily stay again! Anna was also extremely helpful and kind, with quick responses to messages, clear instructions and helpful recommendations for local places to eat. Highly recommend!

Kimberley’s flat was a beautiful place to relax on the south coast with sea views. The decor is exceptional and full of character which made the stay even more enjoyable and the kitchen and bathroom are both well equipped. She was extremely responsive and helpful and was a fantastic host!

This is a lovely peaceful place to stay with the beach just seconds from the Annexe. The place was spotlessly clean with everything needed for a short stay. David is really friendly and has great local knowledge. Although it is quiet we easily walked to the local pub one night, just a 25 minute walk and there is plenty to do just a short drive away in either direction. We would highly recommend for some peaceful fresh sea air.

A beautiful apartment with lovely views across the beach. The apartment was really clean and comfortable and Abbey and Joe go out of their way to make your stay as great as possible - we especially loved the welcome gifts left for us and the detailed information about the surrounding area and recommendations. We had a fantastic couple of days away and would highly recommend!

Karen was the perfect host with full details re the property sent in advance and a lovely welcoming present. The property is immaculate in all senses of the word with spacious clean rooms and a lovely balcony for those great sunsets. It is situated two minutes walk away from the beach and 20 from Birchington itself which is full of shops, bars and restaurants. The apartment was exactly same as described on the listing. It was at a prime location with a breath taking sea view, especially during the sun sets. I really enjoyed the stay with my little one and partner. My little suddenly felt at home as we walked in. There are few steps to the apartment though as it was at the third floor but it is worth it with the exceptional views. Highly recommend for the families wanted to spend their time with their kids and relax.
