Lovely space to stay in. Clean and comfortable and picturesque location.

The dream of a vacation rental. Perfectly located on the dune reserve, this house impresses with aesthetic furnishings, generosity and optimal amenities. We just felt super comfortable. There was nothing missing. A large garden with grill, well equipped kitchen, nice living and sauna area made the stay perfect. Christiane is a warm host and extremely friendly. Communication with her was easy and fast. We especially liked the high quality bedding and the comfortable beds. I would book the house again and again when in the area. Great recommendation!

We had a wonderful weekend in Uitgeest as a family of five. The surroundings with the windmill, the meadows with lots of water, nature and the beautiful place just around the corner are the perfect starting point for various excursions to the sea or to Haarlem and Amsterdam. Our hosts were always very friendly and helpful, the house offers everything you need and is beautifully cozy. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice stay! The accommodation is stylishly furnished, especially the brand new and high quality kitchen delighted us. Even beach toys for the children were available. The beach is in about 15 minutes walking distance, which was perfect for relaxing days by the sea. The location is also great – both Amsterdam and Alkmaar are easily accessible. We felt completely comfortable and would be happy to come back!

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

We came with our dog. A nice clean apartment, in the evening you could light the fireplace. Really great. Of course, central heating was also available. Nice bathroom with shower. Jur was very helpful and friendly. There were delicious fresh eggs from our own chickens on arrival. Small cute sheep and a great hen house is available. Everything was just right and it was great. Small cottage with in a top location. The house was very cozy in the backyard of Ellen. We found everything we needed (spices, oil, tissues, etc.) and even got some fresh eggs. We spend two lovely days here and will come back.

A top accommodation, a whole experience

Fabulous place in the heart of Amsterdam! Easy to walk to most places, and the tram was close if you want to venture out further. Our family enjoyed people watching from the big open Dutch windows. Very beautiful location. Hosts were friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Sharine and Keon’s place! The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly equipped with everything we needed. It’s located in a beautiful and peaceful neighborhood, with easy access to everything Amsterdam has to offer. Sharine and Keon were fantastic hosts—very responsive, thoughtful, and welcoming. Their home had a warm, personal touch that made us feel comfortable and at home right away. It was the perfect space for our family, and our little one especially enjoyed it. We loved our stay at Charlotte’s place! The apartment was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location was perfect for our stay in Alkmaar as everything was within walking distance. Taking care of O’Malley was also a fun addition to our trip. He was very friendly but respected our space. All in all, we really enjoyed staying at Charlotte’s and would love to visit again in the future :)

We stayed at the "Wijze Uil" for two weeks and had a wonderful vacation. Jeanet's beautiful old house is lovingly renovated and tastefully and comfortably furnished. The large garden with many seats is a dream and on the terrace you can enjoy the day. An appealing home for a relaxing vacation with a dog in a beautiful setting. The small town of Schoorl with gastronomy and shopping is within walking distance. The dunes and the forest start right behind the house and invite you for walks. Jeanet is an uncomplicated and friendly host and always approachable. We felt very comfortable and will come back next year.

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

Lovely holiday with family and friends, Daphne’s home gave us peace while we weren’t off sightseeing or biking!

We had relaxing days in the beautiful house.

Really enjoyed this last minute booking after arranging our tickets to the historic Dutch GrandPrix 2021 Formula 1. The Host Vivian was a great communicator pre, during and post the event. She arranged a pass through ticket to the closed event area within Zandvoort, which was a unique ticket to have closer access to the event by car. The house has a lot of charm, especially the living room and the garden with its relaxing area that was very welcome after a day of 20 thousands steps in Zandvoort.

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

A short break with a long-term effect. We are only with the closest family in Julianadorp for a few around my wife's milestone birthday. Ingrid's house is located in a complex from which you can reach the beach in a few minutes. The site is quiet and well maintained. Ingrid offered us a great house for the 5 of us. A large living-dining area with kitchen, so everyone was always together. The big table was also perfect, also for game nights. When the weather was nice, we could go straight out onto the terrace. Behind the house was the stream, on which ducks and coots paddled. Highlight: The bathroom in the house with barrier-free shower and view of the tulip fields. Ingrid, as a landlady, was always at our side. I'd love to come back.

Marjolein and Jan are lovely hosts. They give great attention to their home and gardens. As shared, the home is walkable to the train and Heiloo business district. We were welcomed with delicious soup and snacks and were given time to chat and ask questions. Their kindness and willingness to help us navigate North Holland, and to make recommendations throughout our stay, was exceptional. I wish we had more time to chill, however, we squeezed in many beautiful sites in 5 short days. The small towns being a highlight! Heiloo is super and the locals so friendly:). Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.
