My girlfriend and I stayed at Kathie’s place and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The journey to get there is bumpy, but is truly awesome to see. As the other reviews have stated, you definitely want at LEAST an SUV - ours was front wheel drive and proved to be resilient. The locals were all so welcoming and inviting to their culture. We decided to do the ATM cave tours the first day and did not regret it one bit. Kathie recommend to do the pontoon tour on the macal river and it did not disappoint! Would highly recommend doing this with Laz and his team - the lunch on the boat was amazing and the scenery was incredibly beautiful. Additionally, Kathie was extremely responsive and helpful when needed. Millie and Ms. Nora and her daughter were all excellent and cooked an amazing dinner upon arrival - the dinner was perfect after a long day of traveling. If you are looking for an authentic jungle experience this is your place to be.

Danilo and Maddie's place was comfortable, cozy, clean, and very enjoyable with beautiful views. Both front and back decks were great, and we loved the walk-in shower. It was an easy 15-20 min walk into the central area, and there were some great bakeries right in the neighborhood.

We were absolutely thrilled! The accommodation offers everything you want from an Airbnb and much more: a super nice hostess, cleanliness, great decor, free parking on the premises, tips for the area and much more. Although it is a bit noisy at night because of the nearby street, Ramona provided earplugs :) All around a perfect Airbnb. Full recommendation!

Staying at Sophia's place was a wonderful and unique experience. Visiting Belize, we wanted to experience some local culture and really felt that we found it by staying in San Antonio and on the farm. We had the amenities in the home to cook local meals, and Sophia/Robin made us feel very welcome to peruse and enjoy the property. We saw our first ever toucans on our walk through the property! They also gave great recommendations that helped us maximize our stay, notably the farm store that carries all sorts of locally grown tropical fruit. Overall the peace and quiet off the tourist trail, ease of access to amenities, and welcoming hosts made it a 5-star experience for us. Thank you again!
