We spent a few days here to be close to Edwards AFB. The home is very spacious and was nicely decorated. The view was magnificent. It is close enough to town to pick up anything needed in a short amt of time. Anthony was very helpful and responded quickly when I reached out to him. We really enjoyed our time in California City.

Jacob was a great host—very responsive and clear with communication. The house was perfect for us and our dogs—comfortable, clean, and just what we needed. There was a power outage in the entire town due to wind/weather, which was completely out of Jacob’s control, but he kept us well-informed with updates throughout. We really appreciated his communication and would definitely stay here again!

From the moment we viewed the pictures we wanted to stay at Flying Saucer Ranch. Corey and Samantha had prompt response times and answered every question we had about the property. We stayed for 5 days/4 nights (a family of 6, with 4 teenagers two adults) and we would have happily stayed longer. There is not a detail that has been overlooked in this property. We felt so at home with the well stocked kitchen, including spices, an abundant amount of dinnerware, towels and wash cloths, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, space to spread out and enjoy our vacation in Tehachapi. Upon check in, the directions were easy to follow, and the property was impeccably clean. Major highlights were the karaoke machine, relaxing hot tub with beautiful view, fire table on the deck, and steam shower. Proximity to anything you might need is a quick convenient drive but you still appreciate the private location. You will not be disappointed choosing the Flying Saucer Ranch. 5++ in our book!

Host was very accommodating, I scheduled so last minute and they responded within minutes! I had to change our check out date TWICE, & thankfully they where very understanding & didn’t hesitate to extend our stay! Had a great time felt right at home, very comfortable, will recommend to family and friends

Paul was an amazing host, very friendly and accommodating. The guest suite was spotless and carried the charm and personality of the outdoor decorations inside without being overwhelming. The suite was also much larger than we anticipated and the bathroom was newly remodeled and gorgeous. Paul always responded to us within minutes and made it entire stay so enjoyable. I cannot recommend his place enough. We will definitely be finding an excuse to come back out, even if that excuse is just to see the precious outdoor kitty. Thank you again Paul!

A beautiful tranquil curvy drive around the mountain, away from traffic and into peaceful countryside. Not far from the freeway exit, and yet a world away from hustle and bustle. Recommend this farm stay for fresh air, beautiful views, cozy home and time to unwind. Hosts were friendly but gave plenty of space to just be. We enjoyed the animals, especially the sweet cats who would spend snuggle time on the porch steps while enjoying the amazing view of the stars at night. Space to walk and explore. Horses, friendly dogs, chickens happily clucking around, yet nights were quiet, and days peaceful. Keene is a tiny berg, but we really enjoyed the Cèsar Chávez national monument & delightful restaurant for breakfast. Bakersfield and Tehachapi not far away for other restaurant options and groceries. Enjoyed our stay and would come back if in the Bakersfield area!

When I walked it was actually a lot more bigger then the pictures showed and it didn’t disappoint at all Would come again

Wow!! What a gorgeous Airbnb, might be one of my favorite listings I’ve stayed at so far. Nathan was very inviting and friendly. Would have also loved to stay here longer. 1000% recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful resort-style getaway!

Nick and Brenda responded quickly to our questions. The accommodation is in a very quiet area - we really enjoyed it! The house was also very clean and beautifully furnished. There is a large kitchen with a dishwasher and a capsule coffee machine. There are also a washing machine and a dryer, a large master bedroom, some games and a huge TV in the living room. It is easy to get into the house using the door code. We really felt at home for one night! Highly recommended!

Victor is such a great host. Very kind and responsive. The house is amazingly beautiful, very private, set up super well. It has everything that you could ever need. Victor even gave us extra time since the cleaners were coming later. We highly recommend using Victor and his house as it is the best value for your money that you can get! Extremely happy with everything.

We had a wonderful stay at the Skoolie. Three of us, two adults and a teenager found what we needed in the desert. We used to camp and no longer do. Not sure why. Maybe it’s too muck work or too uncomfortable. This was a way for us to get back to what we loved about camping without the things we don’t love. Being out in this area that is so vast I found myself thinking about things I forgot to wonder about in my daily life. I loved making dinner with one pan instead of all the pans I might have used at home. I loved being encouraged to nature pee. I loved looking at Orions sword in the night sky and wondering why is that star fuzzy. I loved yoga under a yucca. Most of all I enjoyed seeing the love notes from Billimarie and others who curated, cared for and enjoyed this space. It reminded me, we are connected with love.

Cool vintage place to stay. Very happy that it had AC because it was super hot out there in the desert. Joe was a helpful host and there when needed. Thanks for the spot! Will be coming back again in the winter time.
