Vacation rentals with a kayak in Caldwell County

Fantastic location with very easy river access. Gorgeous section of the San Marcos river with big rapids downstream, as well as relaxing waters upstream, and nice and shallow at the property. Huge backyard with fun stuff for the kids, amazing amenities, games, a wall sized TV and game station. Kayaking up the river was so easy, boats were ready to go! All this and the house is beautiful, very well laid out, spacious, and welcoming. We would definitely return!

This place was amazing! We had a big group, and there was plenty of space for us. The backyard was beautiful and backs right up to the river. Also, we were only about 10 minutes out from downtown San Marcos where there is tons to do. Would definitely recommend this Air Bnb!

This was a surprise trip for my fiancé. We both love being outside and this place provided! We loved that it’s a treehouse! Not like a lot of the over-glorified glamping ones. The one that you’ve always imagined growing up, but it had everything and more. We appreciated all the small details playfully placed everywhere. The outdoor shower and cowboy hottub were the highlight of our trip. Just be aware that you may hear some road noise in the distance, but you’ll get used to it. For those who may have gotten caught up in growing up in a fast-paced and demanding society that stole your identity, this is the perfect place that will help you rediscover and feed your inner child. Well it did for this retired Army combat medic. This WAS initially for my fiancé but I think we both were able to sink in and enjoy it together. The place has a natural way of doing that. We had a great stay for the first half of spring break. We were traveling with our friends so had parents, teen/tween boys and 2 younger girls. There was fun for everyone. The weather was perfect so we were able to enjoy fishing in the kayaks, sit on the front porch to relax and play sports in the yard. Our girls loved the loft!

The place was perfect while in town for the TWS seminar. My father, daughter, and I felt right at home and private even with MariLisa and Tanner staying the night in the adjoining section behind the main house- never knew they were there. The neighborhood is as peaceful and quiet as described.

Nice spot on the river! I hope to go back in warmer weather.

Roberts house was soemthing out of a dream, right on the river huge with so many diffrent rooms and options for people to stay at. I would love to stay there again.
