The Ellison House was fantastic! We needed the house for my son’s wedding weekend. It accommodated 9 people very comfortably. The rooms were beautifully decorated with private bathrooms. The back yard was spacious and felt private even in the middle of town. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy the house with all it had to offer rather than essentially only a place to unwind and sleep. We enjoyed the warmth and coziness of the decor. The house is wonderfully maintained and has interesting history with roots in the community. We WILL be back for future events to enjoy the space!!

Michael was extremely friendly and has lots of animals on the property that are so sweet to help welcome you to the location! Michael provided lots of great recommendations and provided privacy during the stay.

This was a surprise trip for my fiancé. We both love being outside and this place provided! We loved that it’s a treehouse! Not like a lot of the over-glorified glamping ones. The one that you’ve always imagined growing up, but it had everything and more. We appreciated all the small details playfully placed everywhere. The outdoor shower and cowboy hottub were the highlight of our trip. Just be aware that you may hear some road noise in the distance, but you’ll get used to it. For those who may have gotten caught up in growing up in a fast-paced and demanding society that stole your identity, this is the perfect place that will help you rediscover and feed your inner child. Well it did for this retired Army combat medic. This WAS initially for my fiancé but I think we both were able to sink in and enjoy it together. The place has a natural way of doing that. The house and the yard was fantastic. It has a large kitchen, and living area . The sofa was so comfortable, nice and had plenty seating. I now want to go buy one just like it. The kids room was great. They had a tent with toys in which my 2 year old niece. The outdoor deck and fenced in yard was my favorite. My little corgi dog was so exited to run around and go stare at the cows and neighbors dog. There is a play scape/funhouse, tree swing , and a zip line. We got to see the cows in the back twice and they are beautiful . Amber left snacks for the kiddos by and keurig coffee supplies and tea. The beds were comfy and had soft quilts instead of thick comforters. Everything was very nice and clean and kid and dog friendly .

Great views, beautiful cabin. Loved all of the animals! Shadow and Bootsy were a big bonus!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at this house... had all my family together. I would highly recommend it to anyone with big family.

First things first ... such a wonderful host!! I had a few minor situations happen but she was quick to respond and resolve the issue. You need your grass cut, you let her know and her and her Fiance come and take care of it for you!! Secondly... She allowed us to add something to her home! A fire pit! It was an ask and she was approved out ask. We bought and hope future guests enjoy it!! Also bought a few camo chairs also, for future guests to use as well!! This place is so relaxing, and close to lots of local eatery. Also not far from Lockhart which is where my husband and a few of his coworkers were commuting too. I would highly recommend too anyone who is visiting for a relaxing getaway, business. Beds are small but comfortable. Comfy bedding. Cozy couch, you'll slink right into them and cute and comfortable Egg Chairs. If you've come across this review it's because your considering the AirBnB ... Don't skip last it. It's truly a Gem 💎!! I absolutely loved my stay here. it was so quiet and having river access was awesome so we could fish and paddleboard. she gave us use of tubes and a kayak but we brought our own boards. I loved sitting on the patio every morning with my book and breakfast. Lockhart is about 18 min away and Luling is 12 min. making groceries and/or restaurants easy to get to. upon booking, she reached out to remind me that there's no TV or wifi, which for me, made it even better. if you're looking for a peaceful place to defrag and considers fur babies as family, look no further.

I would definitely come back if I can. The place was very nice and cool, because it's on a ranch, I assumed it would be kinda musty and whatnot but the house itself was very fresh and the air was on when we arrived so it was very cool inside. They had a great kitchen and I was able to cook quite a bit while I was here. In this listing there was a picture of plastic chairs surrounding the fire but when we got there there was actually a way cooler stone structure to sit several people on, so that was a nice surprise. The cows were cool, they had a little feed left that we gave them.
