We had a wonderful stay! The hosts, Chiara and Sauro, are incredibly friendly and communicative. Our trip started off perfectly with a warm welcome on a central square, from where they guided us to the house and gave us a tour. The house itself was spotless and perfectly located. One of the highlights was the pool—especially great that it was heated during the early season. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, with mountains, beautiful countryside, and even the sea just over half an hour away. Whenever we had a question or needed anything, Chiara and Sauro were there to help. We’ve rarely met such warm and genuine hosts. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our one week family holiday staying in this villa. The house, garden and pool are as described and absolutely gorgeous! The weather was extremely hot so we particularly appreciated the beautiful pool as well as the possibility to eat outside in the well shaded area overlooking the pool. Also, there is a plentiful supply of tableware for outdoor use which is very practical. The location was ideal for visiting destinations such as Assisi and Montepulciano, but it was also great just taking it easy and enjoying the garden, pool and views. The villa is 10 mins by car from CDL although the last part is on unmade roads which can be quite bumpy. We found Google Maps worked best for navigating to/from the villa but led us astray on occasions - Beware! Alessandra was a great host. She was there to welcome us on arrival and explain everything we needed to know. Throughout our stay she was very responsive to our questions and recommendation requests. We recommend this villa!

The villa is very spacious and cozy, located in a quiet area. The spacious living room and numerous rooms (also large ones) make the place suitable and comfortable for a group. The host was very nice and approachable, clear communication.

Very nice house, well equipped, big pool, and a friendly host. We enjoyed our time here so much. You can feel the love of the host for the house, it is well furnished and also very nice: alll the rooms have nets against insects. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed this villa. The house is huge, well maintained and very welcoming. Furnishings chosen precisely and carefully to offer different experiences and special services (living room that becomes a cinema room!). The outdoor spaces are spectacular, especially the garden and the indoor rooms, perfect for relaxing. It has everything you need for both work and fun. We really enjoyed our week in the house with all the advantages the house had to offer! Our hosts were also very nice people who welcomed us warmly with a welcome beer and wine. A place we'll be happy to remember!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ricardo’s place! Pool was a lot of fun and there are some nice cities to visit in the area. Two things which are important to mention: The host is living directly at the house but that wasn’t really problem for us because he is really friendly and didn’t really have a problem with some music… There are some security cameras around on the property and one in the house, but we just covered the one in the house…. So in the end we had a great stay!

We were in a group of 13 people, 4 families. The house had plenty of room, all with privacy. Impeccable house, very comfortable. Large garden, ping pong table and pool that unfortunately we couldn't use because it was winter. Excellent Barbecue Area. We don't miss anything! Thanks Frederic

An incredible estate that felt like you’re staying at a rustic Italian mansion. The grounds outside were stunning and massive and well groomed. The house is also quite massive with loads of privacy for the guests from each other. We were a group of 11 and it never for a moment felt crowded. The host was extremely patient and kind. If it’s available take it. We will be back!

Our stay was amazing! The house is beyond beautiful and the view is beautiful. The house was great for a group of 9 people. (We didn’t realize there were no bed linens and towels included, so take that with you.) Communication was great! We will defiantly come back!

We had a very pleasant stay at Villa Caprile. The house is beautiful, with stylish decor and modern amenities that made our stay very comfortable. The panoramic view of the surrounding hills, including Cortona, and the spectacular sunsets were simply breathtaking. Plus, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always available to answer our questions and give us advice on the best local attractions. The ability to use the person in charge of the villa to organize meals or shop is a real asset. We highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil getaway in Italy. Lovely place, in the Marche hills. Too lovely, so much so that we spent a lot of time relaxing in the Villa. Too bad about the unpaved Stradello that connects the main road to the villa. Super helpful and friendly host. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Villa dei Melogani (Pomegranate Villa) is cinematic, something from a movie. It lives up to its billing, offering a huge country house to share with friends & relatives & many spaces for enjoying the outdoors: orchards, vegetable gardens, a small bamboo forest, wild blackberries, a backdoor patio under the oleanders where a fox visited us one evening. The standout feature is the pool. It was the key reason we chose this particular property and it did not disappoint—huge enough to accommodate all seven of us and long enough to enjoy a daily laps regime. It also kept us cool through super-hot August days. Milan-based owners Alberto & Lucia were ultra-responsive & full of fun local suggestions. Orietta left the place spotless & gave a welcoming tour. Groundskeeper Giuseppe was a daily delight—dropping off gigantic fresh tomatoes, eggs, & baskets of wild blackberries. Umbertide is also beautiful, a hilltop mediaeval gem of excellent restaurants & history. Would go back in a second!

We were thrilled with this villa. It was clean and everything was available, the towels and linen are changed once a week. The pool water was measured and cleaned almost daily. The vegetation around the house is lush, so no one can see from the outside. But beware, where there is a lot of greenery, there are also many mosquitoes. All the windows have fly guards and are barred, so you feel safe when you are on the road for several hours. The gate from the driveway, which is quite steep by the way, can be opened and closed electronically. In the kitchen is everything you need for cooking. The barbecue is on the patio. Also in the kitchen you have the possibility to grill on hot plate. All bedrooms, have air conditioning, down to 1 of 2 bedrooms downstairs. Fans, washing machine, fridge, iron, hair dryer and a coffee capsule machine etc. are provided. A dream home & a dream vacation! Muchísimas gracias Silvia. 😊

I can only recommend this wonderful villa! We booked for the last week of July and were two families for a total of 4 adults and 5 children from 2 to 12 years old. We loved the feeling of being alone and free in a fantastic location with every amenity. The pool is perfect for kids. The weather was fantastic with 35° every day and almost no clouds. All sleeping rooms have their own bathroom and air conditioning everywhere that works very well. The kitchen has an induction cooktop, an oven, a microwave, two fridges, dishwasher and all cutleries that you may need even for a big group. A washing+dryer machine is available in the basement. There is even a nice BBQ! The garden around the house invites for a little walk and has also many fruit trees (figs, peaches, apricots, cherries, pears..). For extra relax, two whirlpools and a sauna.. Just perfect :-)

We had a great couple of days in this beautiful, rustic, traditional, italian farmhouse. Very quiet location with only fields surrounding the houses. It is a bit of a drive (about 1 hour one way) to the historic sides, attractions, and beach towns. If you stay here you should plan for that. Host gave us great tips for surrounding/local restaurants, the pizzeria 5 min from the house, down in the town had great pizza for great prices with very friendly staff. The house was spacious, great to fit 2 families.
