We are very happy with our family stay. The accommodation is true to the description and photos. Very well located for any visits to the surrounding area. Véronique and Yvan are very friendly and hosted us very well. Quiet and peaceful place, very clean and very well-equipped accommodation. We recommend it 100%.

Very pleasant stay in a large well-equipped house in the middle of a superb grounds with a gigantic pool. House ideally located for discovering the region (Padirac, Castelnaud, Sarlat, Rocamadour, etc.). Take a good look at the trips in time and not in kilometers... Lots of small roads with turns in the area. Lots of things to do and visit within 45 minutes. Very quiet and relaxing: no car noise! Well-equipped house with ceiling fans in all the rooms. Large trees maintain an acceptable temperature in the house even in the middle of August. The huge pool is an undeniable asset. We spent every afternoon there. Being semi-open, it is possible to enjoy it even when the sun hits strong. In addition, it is salt and not chlorine, a plus for the eyes! Finally, Angela is a very welcoming hostess and always ready to be of service. We'll be back!

We stayed a few days while visiting a relative nearby. The place was clean, cozy, and well equipped. The heating worked well and kept us comfortable even though it was freezing outside.

Accommodation as described. Exterior and very pleasant pool. Julie is a very welcoming and responsive host and the house is well equipped . We had a very good stay.

The location was easy to find. The reception by Valérie was warm and we immediately got a tour of the house. Nothing is missing, everything is very complete and the house was really very clean. We had a great stay in a beautiful house overlooking the Gorges de l'Aveyron. The pool made it complete on the hot days. There is much to do in the surrounding areas like canoeing on the Aveyron. The village of Saint Antonin Noble Val is less than 5 minutes drive and very worthwhile to take the time to see this historic area well. Yannick and his son waved us out on departure. We had an excellent holiday here and would love to come back.

Very pleasant stay in Fanny's house. The house is enough on its own to have a good vacation around the pool! We were hosted very well, advised, and Fanny is very available if needed.

Very nice stay at Jérôme's. New house with all the necessary amenities. Lots of activities and games for kids. I recommend this house for a pleasant stay whether you are visiting the Lot or Dordogne.

We had a lovely family holiday here. The house is really well set up for kids with trampoline, swimming pool and lots of toys. The kitchen was also a highlight - fantastic La Canche stove, KitchenAid mixer etc made preparing meals a breeze. The location is quite remote so be prepared for a drive on winding roads. There’s no cafe or shops in the village but plenty of options in surrounding villages a short drive away. The pool doesn’t have an alarm so make sure you keep an eye on children. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would love to return! Thanks Delphine.

A fantastic base in a glorious region.

This is a beautiful house on the edge of Daglan, right by the river Céou. The outside spaces are the main reason to recommend this place: the pool is great, there's several lovely spaces to eat outside where you can follow the sun (or shade...), and there's lots of room for children to run around and play. The garden is beautiful - eating around the big table on the terrace in the dappled evening light was wonderful. There's also tons of games and equipment to ensure that children never get bored. The hosts were super-responsive, too, and very helpful. Daglan is a good base to explore the Dordogne - all the main sights are within easy reach. But with a garden this lovely, why bother leaving?!

Monique's place is really unique, spacious and warm. We had a great New Year's Eve and can't wait to come back! Monique is always available and very friendly.

Absolutely beautiful house, gardens and location. We could not fault this stunning home in a picturesque area. Everything about the house is perfect for a group get away or just family. The whole place is finished to a very high standard but done simply with a minimalist approach which is just sublime. We’ve had the most wonderful week. Thank you Joanna.

The house is sublime, tastefully decorated, the kitchen facilities are many and of high quality, there is space inside and out. Everything is thought (rooms at the pool) so that the stay of families with children, including young, is easy. The sunsets from the terrace are breathtaking. The area is perfect for countryside lovers, historic trip (middle age castle -Najac++-), gastronomic journey (Quercy's cooking recipes -Conserverie d'autrefois in Caylus++-), and outdoor sport (canoe, ropes in trees) in the gorges of Aveyron. Nathalie who runs the house every day as well as Leo and Kate are responsive, available and very helpful. They are the kind off host you're dreaming about. This is the second time we have come and we will do our best to return.

An exceptional place, attentive hosts, weather on the agenda. The ideal place to meet because the space gives everyone the opportunity to enjoy without disturbing the others . A real discovery in a beautiful area. You have to have to go out of a beautiful estate to meet all that is available to you .

Joelle and Michel are the perfect hosts and their home is an absolute haven in the French countryside. Our families, (with five children under five!), could not have asked for a more perfect stay. Gite is SUCH a beautiful property, with attention to detail and thoughtful style in every room, and wonderfully accessible toys and activities for young children. If there was anything we needed Joelle and Michel responded instantly. We felt safe, happy and we will definitely be coming back!

An exceptional house in a peaceful site, excellent stay in this tastefully decorated house (and worthy of being in a decor magazine) and fully equipped (large gas barbecue very convenient), we took advantage of the pool and terraces, and the calm of the site (and you can see the stars very well at night:) ). Alain's welcome was very friendly, and he kept in touch with us during the stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. Kids loved the pool pool and huge grounds. Numerous opportunities for excursions in the area: the beautiful village of Saint Cyrq Lapopie, Rocamadour or the steam train in Martel. And activities like the pony less than 20 minutes away. Thanks again for the perfect and change of scenery!

A very good stay on site, very pleasant with friends and with children. There is everything on site for a very good time, time for games or rest and sites to visit in the area. The host was very responsive to our questions or needs, discreet and friendly. We loved it and would recommend it.

Dear Angèle and Chris, Thank you very much for a perfect stay in your beautiful house. It surpassed our expectations. The location was perfect for us. During our stay we visited Najac, Penne and Albi, as well as going kayaking on the Aveyron. We love both Saint Antonin and Cordes for shopping. Cordes is close enough to buy fresh croissant from the boulangerie for breakfast each morning. It was a real treat having the air conditioning, such a high spec kitchen and a pool with the most beautiful view. You were amazing hosts. Best wishes, Clare and family.

We had a great time at the house. Ideal with kids, the house is very convenient and super well equipped for them. The garden and pool are as advertised in the photos and offer an ideal setting for a quiet vacation. The house is close to the village of Monpazier which is very nice to visit. Thank you.

Leaving a review is never trivial! Especially for future travelers and landlords... How to explain and make our immense joy feel when we discovered Mounard's cottage! It's impossible as our host Régis, thanks to his speed and professionalism saved our vacation in Périgord! Following the express decision to go into disaster from our first reservation due to unsanitary conditions, we were more than 1000kms from our home and without accommodation! In just a few hours (2 or 3 maximum!) Régis tells us that he will fix the situation and that we can take the road for his cottage, and even apologize that the lawn shade is not impeccable... A detail for us given the description of the first accommodation! When you arrive at the Mounard, the pressure can finally come down and especially the holidays can finally start! A lady, Cath is there to welcome us and what a welcome! Incredibly kind, all by explaining all the amenities of the house to us and there are any! To our surprise, despite Régis's apologies a few hours before, someone is already present for the lawn and cleaning the pool! What a joy. The house is very well equipped, adapted to our needs, that of enjoying with family! Superbly clean and healthy! The exteriors are also in line with our needs, lots of garden, a terrace always shaded if needed, a swing, not to mention the heated pool! The latter in addition to having stairs suitable for children, young or old, is equipped with a safety system, a luxury with small children! We can only thank our hosts, the place was perfect for our trip and our family! We'll be back for sure! You can, without a second thought, book this airbnb without a second thought, it's impossible for you to be on it!

A very special place. The house is spacious and the layout gives plenty of areas to relax. The garden and pool is beautiful. With woodland views, there are lots of seating areas and loungers, a hammock and games to play in the huge grassy area. And the pool is perfect. Sam is a super host, happy to help and is kind and fun. If you love yoga, then there is the chance to have a session with Sam in her beautiful yoga studio. We had the best time. Thank you!
