'Waterside Studio' is a well appointed apartment in an annexe to the main house, but with private access. It is situated in a quiet part of a unique village, which has a sea dock, adjacent to the Lune Estuary and canal basin on a branch arm of the Lancaster Canal. Ideal for walkers, cyclists, bird watchers and anyone who likes all aspects of wildlife, boating and the sea. We are 5 m. south of the historically important University town of Lancaster. The village has a pub, village store and cafes.

A Memorable Stay at The Hamilton The Hamilton was such a wonderful place to stay — it truly felt like an experience. I booked it for my mum’s birthday, and without much effort, she looked absolutely glamorous in every photo thanks to the beautiful surroundings. I rated the location 4 stars only because none of us were driving, so we had to rely on taxis, which added up quickly. That said, the bus stops right outside The Hamilton was extremely convenient, making it easy to get around at a much more reasonable cost. We all agreed we would definitely book this place again. Until then, thank you, John!

Right from the start it felt right. The accommodation was perfect. Absolutely spotless and had everything going for it. The hosts Kathy and Sean were delightful people. Very approachable and interactive. The setting behind the house where the annexe was, was stunning. The garden was beautiful and very well kept. Very quiet and secluded.

A wooden hot tub is surrounded by lush green foliage, providing a serene environment. A bottle of champagne and a glass sit on the edge, inviting relaxation. The bubbling water creates a tranquil atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring.

The pod is absolutely beautiful inside and out. In a really peaceful place perfect to sit outside and enjoy the night. Warm and cosy inside, it’s like a home away from home. Couldn’t fault the place at all, we celebrated an anniversary here and it was perfect for the occasion. Hot tub was lovely and warm by the time we arrived. Would 100% recommend this place, and would absolutely visit again !!

Felt like home from home. Stunning views, so peaceful. We all loved it and definitely planning another visit. Really appreciated the welcome supplies... needed a cup of tea 😊 Stepping Stones bar and restaurant was lovely. Quality food! Staff all helpful and friendly. Thank you all 😊
