Located near the highest village in Britain, Flash, in the beautiful Peak District National Park, 1540 above sea level, in the winter we do get some snow, the Hay Loft has been designed to create a great base for exploring the countryside. On it’s doorstep are; Dragon’s Back Ridge, Chrome Hill, Axe Edge Moor and Buxton. We are only 30 minutes from Mam Tor, Bakewell and Chatsworth House. Curlews fly around the farm. Within a mile is Flash Bar Stores serving breakfast, lunch, cakes and groceries.

The Old Barn, Buxton - A Dream Come True
It's rare to find a place that's both historic and modern. It has been my dream to renovate the unique and private barn at our Grade 2 family home and finally it has happened! I would love to share it with you. Ours is one of the oldest houses in Buxton dating back to the seventeenth century and was once a coaching stop on the medieval road to London. It is now a boutique property set near the common, ideally situated to explore the Peak District yet just a short walk into the town centre.

No onsite parking but plenty of free on road parking on numerous side streets. Pick up and drop off at the door. A 5 minute walk to Buxton town. Electric Fire, Smart TV, Arcade machine with 60 retro games (including Pac-Man,space invaders, donkey kong) and Wifi make for those chilled cosy nights!
