We equipped the unit with a 50" flat screen TV, full cable package, bose sound bar/Bluetooth speaker, high speed internet, walk in shower with dual shower heads and a bench seat, full kitchen with gas stove, bedroom with a queen size bed, living room with a pull out sofa, fenced private patio area with fire pit, off street parking 30 ft from the door, and everything you need for a nice quiet night and or weekend getaway. Cheerful New Cottage Style Family Mountain Getaway

Centrally located in the rebuilding town of Paradise. Every home on our street was lost in the 2018 Camp Fire. We are the fourth home to be rebuilt on the street. There is new hope for this small mountain community. Decorated in a cozy cottage look with comfortable beds and everything you need in our stocked kitchen. Excellent internet and a smart TV . There is an outdoor table for and gas grill. Our local marina, Line Saddle, has boat, paddle board and kayak rentals for a day on the lake.

You will find fruit trees, grapes, a garden and chickens. The chickens roam the property during the day. You may hear a rooster in the AM. There is a covered patio and fire pit to enjoy the evenings in Chico. If you like to cook outdoors there is a gas BBQ & pellet grill/smoker. It is 1.8 miles from Chico State and Downtown.

Anastasia was a great host, so professional yet warm and welcoming! Responded very quickly, and was very accommodating to our needs/requests. Check-in instructions were super detailed and helpful. The apartment was very clean and well stocked. It is exactly the same as shown in the pictures. 2 big, very cosy beds and a sofa bed; all perfect for our family. We could not have asked for a better location. It is back from the street which makes it feel private and secluded while still being close to everything. Overall a wonderful place. We would definitely recommend, as we feel so lucky to have found this little hideaway.

The unit was clean and quaint. It was close to where I needed to be so it made it easy to check on my dogs frequently. Marie was very friendly, flexible, and responsive. I needed to stay an extra night last minute and she was very accommodating. I will definitely stay there again.

House was as described and matched photos. Very spacious and location was great. Close to downtown, restaurants and Saturday morning market. Everything well stocked and easy to access upon arrival. We appreciated the treats left for us. There were a lot of quirky rules for the house which I found to be a bit much, especially the ones regarding bringing your dog. Yard was very small and not puppy proof which was fine for my tiny old dog but would probably be a challenge with a large dog. Overall, we had a nice time and enjoyed the place.

My family and I had a great time at Shawn’s place. The pool table was a hit and the rooms were cozy and the whole place was clutter free. We enjoyed the tv and the board games that were available. It was a short stay, but we would definitely come back :)

This is my second time staying at this place. Very nice location relatively close to downtown Chico. There are many cats in the neighborhood! The place is small and delightful, and suited our needs perfectly. We will likely stay there again in the future.
