Great location outside the city center but close enough to everything. A lot of great restaurants close by as well.

I stayed at Hotel Royal when I arrived in the Netherlands, which greatly helped me to settle here. The team was extremely helpful, welcoming and very flexible. I greatly recommend.

Nous avons passez un très bon séjour dans le logement d’Irma qui était très agréable et les alentours très beaux. La proximité avec Amsterdam et la possibilité d’y aller en train était très appréciable. Et pour finir Irma a été très gentille et réactive. Tout est positif merci encore !!

We spent 10 long days in Zaandam while preparing and working in a fair. Margot has been absolutely great in taking care of us, and it's the space was good although smaller than expected (and quite cold even with heating..). Note: you are in Zaandam, not Amsterdam.. but it's a lovely area and very well connected with trains which gets you everywhere but will take around half an hour to get to Amsterdam Central. Quite honestly Zaandam was such a cute town! very pleasant and with everything you need. In case you don't have to go to Amsterdam, you got everything there.. If I'd have to give a feedback, I would personally need a stove in an apartment, even if small (2 stoves are enough) people have to be able to cook for themselves if needed. I missed an home cooked meal! All considered, good stay and great hosts you will be in good hands.

Wir waren zu zweit da und wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment sehr wohl in der Wohnung. Alles war sehr sauber, es standen Shampoos/Wattepads/Wattestäbchen zum Gebrauch zur Verfügung. Hans hat einen Ordner, mit Ausflügen und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung zum anschauen, dort waren auch gute Tipps für Restaurantbesuche zu finden. Auch die Kommunikation mit Hans war gut. Er und seine Frau wohnen oben in der Wohnung. Bei Fragen schreibt Hans schnell über Airbnb zurück und hilft auch persönlich. Es stehen 2 Fahrräder zur Verfügung, welche wir häufig genutzt haben. Umgebung ist ruhig, mit den Fahrräder ist man in 5min im Zentrum. Zu Fuss hat man ca. 20min.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was clean and well-equipped, and the location was amazing. We spent many hours enjoying the Kralingse Bos right across the road, and loved being able to easily walk to the grocery store and nice restaurants/cafes nearby. The laundry machine was a bonus and the large rainfall shower in the bathroom was really nice. The back porch was lovely and sunny in the afternoon, perfect for reading or a cup of coffee. Overall very happy we got to spend a week here.

We had a great time in Amsterdam. Louis was friendly, reliable, on time and made us feel welcome. The living room is comfortable, great sofa and nice dining table. The location is also in a great neighborhood

We are so happy that we spent eight nights in Trudy's apartment in Haarlem. Everything about our stay was perfect. Trudy met us on arrival, showed us around the neighborhood and helped us to find local shops. She has thought of everything that her guests need for any length of stay. The location is peaceful and quiet. It's a quick less than 10-minute walk to the Haarlem train station, and the trip to Amsterdam Centraal is about 15 minutes. We will definitely stay here again if we return to the area. She is a wonderful host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation was perfect, spacious, clean, well presented, comfortable. The games room and bikes were a nice bonus. The location was great for Amsterdam central, Leon and his family were happy to help with taxi service and it made it a super easy experience. It was also nice to come to a much quieter area to stay and escape the busy city. Leon answered all of our questions, explained everything well, you couldnt ask for more from an air BnB stay.

Wir waren über das Osterwochenende mit 16 Personen in Karels Haus. Alles ist sehr großzügig und gut ausgestattet. Das Haus ist riesig, so dass selbst bei Regenwetter ausreichend Platz gewesen wäre, um auch mal in kleineren Gruppen was zu machen. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, so dass das Kochen auch für eine große Gruppe Spaß macht. Bei schönem Wetter sitzt man draußen sehr idyllisch. Es gibt viele schöne Plätze, an denen man sich aufhalten kann. Die Kommunikation mit Karel was super. Er reagiert immer innerhalb kürzester Zeit, kümmert sich und hat uns sogar bei der Organisation von Leihfahrrädern unterstützt. In der Umgebung kann man viel unternehmen: die Mühlen in Kinderdijk sind sogar mit dem Fahrrad zu erreichen, Rotterdam mit dem Wassertaxi und De Biersbosch ist auch ein schönes Ziel. Die Unterkunft ist also in jedem Fall zu empfehlen. Der einzige kleine Wermutstropfen ist, dass das obere 4er-Zimmer kein Badezimmer hat und man für die Toilette bis nach unten laufen muss

Mein Freund, unser Vierbeiner und ich haben knappe 5 Tage in Berrie's Haus gewohnt. Es ist ein sehr schönes kleines Häuschen mit einem, größtenteils gepflasterten Garten. Die Sonne scheint richtig schön auf die Sitzecke im Garten und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Das Wohnzimmer ist heller und freundlicher als es auf den Fotos aussieht :) Der Strand ist in etwa einer Stunde zu Fuß erreichbar.. mit dem Auto dauert es nur knappe 20min. Die öffentliche Anbindung nach Amsterdam beinhaltet 15 Minuten Gehzeit zum Bahnhof und ca 40 Minuten mit der Bahn die einen direkt zum Hauptbahnhof bringt. Wer also eine ruhige schöne Gegend zwischen Amsterdam und Strand sucht ist hier genau richtig :) Wir können Berrie's Haus wärmstens empfehlen!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely home nestled in the green surroundings of the Netherlands. The location is truly peaceful, offering a serene retreat away from the bustle yet with easy access to major attractions and transport links. The house itself was spotless, well-equipped, and had all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay, including a cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The natural surroundings were beautiful, with lush greenery all around that created a calming environment perfect for relaxation. Despite the tranquility, it was easy to reach nearby towns making it an ideal base for exploring the area. Communication with the hosts was excellent throughout our stay. They were responsive, polite, and ensured we had everything we needed, which made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. We appreciated their warm hospitality and clear, timely information. Overall, this place is a perfect blend of peaceful nature and convenient location

wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Die Lage ist super um Amsterdam zu erkunden oder Keukenhof, Velo Touren, schöne Städtchen besichtigen, kurztripp ans Meer usw. Es werden 2 Velos zur verfügung gestellt wo man in ca.5 min bei der Bushaltestelle ist für nach Amsterdam Central ( mit Bus ca.10 min). Die Lage vom Air Bnb ist sehr ruhig und mitten in der Natur. Es hat an jedem Fenster Mückennetzte was toll ist. Man hat wunderschöne Sonnenuntergänge. Ilpendam ist das nächste Dorf mit kleinem Laden für das nötigste, auch Brötchen usw. Ilpendam selber ist auch sehr hübsch, 5 min mit dem Velo. In der Unterkunft war toll dass es Frottetücher gab. Tolle Küche mit allem was man braucht. Es war auch alles sauber. Im Garten hat man ab und zu Besuch von Hühner Katze, Hund oder Wildhase.

We loved Helen’s unit. It was what we imagined, clean, quiet, close to many, many restaurants and cafes. We especially liked the cafe within a few steps from the unit. Helena was very helpful with suggestions on where to go and what to see. What a wonderful view of the canal when you walk to and from the unit. Communication was excellent as well. We recommend booking this unit before anyone else does. A hidden gem. We’ll be rebooking on our next trip to Amsterdam.

Familien på 4 personer med 2 ungdommer. Leiligheten er nok plass for oss. Fin beliggenhet og privat parkering. Det tar 15 minutter for å kjøre inn på Amsterdam senter. Koselig nabolag og fin med sykkeltur rundt. Anbefales. Vi kommer gjerne igjen

Loved staying at this quaint garage-conversion in the historic heart of Leiden. Perfect combination of history and modern convenience. Grocery store is right next door for anything you might need. Shops and restaurants are a short 5 minute walk. We borrowed the bikes to explore the tulip fields - amazing! Erik and Anna are gracious hosts and were right next door if we needed anything. Highly recommend staying here for your visit to Leiden.

Gemütliche Wohnung in ruhiger Lage. Zentrum zu Fuß, mit dem Bus oder Uber gut erreichbar. Cafés,Restaurants und Supermärkte in der Nähe. Wir waren immer sehr froh, nach den Menschenmassen in der City in „ unsere“ ruhige Umgebung & Wohnung zurückzukehren!

Wir hatten eine sehr entspannte Zeit in der Wohnung. Es war sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das Highlight am Ende eines jeden Tages war der große Whirlpool. Remy ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber und hat immer dafür gesorgt, dass keine Wünsche offen bleiben. Sowohl das AirBnB als auch den Gastgeber kann ich nur weiterempfehle.

Michiel en Rosa zijn zulke lieve mensen. We voelden ons gelijk thuis in het appartement door een super Lief welkomst cadeau. Alles zag er verzorg en netjes uit. De communicatie was uitstekend en het was altijd fijn om even een praatje te maken met Michiel en Rosa. De ligging van het appartement is super en de omgeving lijkt wel een ansichtkaart. Gewoon een superfijne ervaring om hier te verblijven. Zelfs in de winter. We gaan ze missen maar zijn ontzettend blij dat ze een onderdeel van onze reis zijn geweest. Heel veel liefs van Daan en Mariaan

un grand merci à Anna, l'appartement est mieux que sur les photos, super propre, l'emplacement à 10 min en transport public de centrale station et de l'hypercentre avec les transports au pied de l'appartement Anna nous a permis d'arriver plus tôt et nous a proposé de laisser nos bagages dans le logement pour notre dernière journée, nous avons profité de tous les conseils d'Anna, vraiment je vous recommande Anna et son logement

We really enjoyed our stay here. Simon was a friendly, responsive host. The main room is very spacious and bright and comfortable. The bedroom and bathroom are very small as noted by others but the bedroom is cozy and quiet and you can’t hear any street noise. It had everything we needed and is located in the centre of Haarlem with easy access to all the restaurants, shops, etc. We stayed for 6 nights and went back and forth to Amsterdam 4 of the days. The train was maybe a 13 minute pleasant walk through the centre of town. We loved Haarlem: it’s a beautiful place and we’d love to return.
