We had a fantastic stay as a family, with our 2yr old daughter and it is extremely child friendly! The home itself is beautiful and really feels like a home from home. The hosts were excellent at giving local recommendations and kindly had sweet treats and some traditional Norwegian food in the fridge for us to try. 100% would recommend to friends and family looking for a fabulous home in a gorgeous setting!

Wonderful stay, amazing experience. Camping in the nature comes with its own quirks. If you’re up for it, you’d love it. The host, Trond, is very kind and accommodating. Always ready to help out at short notice and goes the extra mile to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Location is mesmerising and there are trails around with different difficulties to choose from. Trond also helps out with suggestions that you could start with. Overall and must try and we might even revisit!

We wanted to escape from the flooded everyday life and connect with nature. So we had prepared ourselves for tranquility and rusticity. And our wishes/ideas were exceeded. We were able to enjoy a tranquility that we had never experienced before. The way to the hut (in winter only with skis or snowshoes to master in a relaxed way) has dropped all loads and we were able to immerse ourselves in the other world. Here, very simple things like making fire and melting snow for water are a priority. This way, the mind can switch off and you can go on a journey to yourself. Beautiful new things can emerge when you get involved. Anne and Sveinung gave us such a warm and loving welcome. The oven and thus the cabin was warm, there was freshly baked bread with strawberry jam, which already made the thought of it a pleasure. Communication was quick and easy. We'll see you again. Thank you very much

A clean, tidy and lovingly furnished cottage and terrace. what a quiet and tranquility. Really everything is thought of to make your stay enjoyable. after we lost our way, Roger and his wife came to us by car and stayed with us in the area until we arrived at the cottage. What a service. So incredibly sweet.

The place is huge, beautiful, and dreamy. The scenery is spectacular! ❤️We were looking for a place to conduct our wedding dinner. Since it was the 1st of December, it was so hard to find an intimate at the same time a cozy nice place to do that. However, Silje opened her doors for us and accommodated us in her amazing BnB. She is very responsive, approachable, and easy to communicate with. She is extremely helpful and caring for her guests. Moreover, she is also flexible with changes and negotiates fairly. We love her so much and we totally recommend her place to everyone. 😘😍🎉🎉

I got nothing but nice words about the cottage and Oxana as a hostess! Extremely charming house and the surroundings are just gorgeous. Very serene and a perfect place for beautiful walks and a peace of mind. Oxana was proactive, responsive and always helpful. I want to return already. Thank you!

Linda is a very nice host who responds quickly when needed. The cabin is in a great location not far from the center of Geilo. When we arrived, it was wonderfully warmed up. The cabin is an old log cabin that is simple but has everything needed for those who like peace, quiet and the " real" Norwegian cabin life. We would gladly came back:-)

Lovely, big and great cabin, totally matches the description and photos. Very high standard, well equipped. Room for many, good beds for 10, very good beds, two great bathrooms. The host Øyvind was very easy to reach, responded quickly, friendly, helpful and informative. Was also very generous with check out when we were leaving on Sunday. Would love to come back, highly recommended.

Cozy and nice apartment in Sanderstølen hotel with restaurant and swimming pool. Nice and welcoming host. Definitely recommend this place and Vibeke as a host. We would love to come back next time we are at Golsfjellet.

Everything was as expected And Thomas was great at responding quickly when you needed help with the time Lovely 2 large communal kitchens so you only make your own food And a kivi shop right across with everything you need 10 minus runs up to the slopes Highly recommend if you have a cheap stay close to hemsedael skicentet

We stayed one night in the house but we would have stayed more. We arrived in the afternoon with a green landscape and low clouds, tasting outside in front of the valley. The stove and wood provided allowed us to spend an evening all 4 warm and cozy. Characterful house. Accommodation to discover without waiting.

The place is a bit rural with nice nature around. Incredibly cozy and peaceful place to stay. The boy's room was spacious and had plenty of room. Got linens and towels, and the place was clean and in order. No check-in or checkout issues. Felt almost like going on a family visit to Sissel, as you are well received with open arms. Both Sissel and the rest of the family were very hospitable and nice. Waffles were shown hiking trails in the area, invited to both waffle, dinner and card game. Had a very nice weekend at Modum, I'd highly recommend the place:)
