It is eight minutes to drive to start of the alpine lift, and twenty minutes if you want to drive up the mountain. And if you want to ski up, the trails go over the fields all the way to the ski lift, provided there is enough snow. Or you can make your way along the old farm road through the forest. Good swimming opportunities on the beach and Svaberg with diving board and floating jetty just below (5 minutes walk).

Large and modern cabin - 10 min from Geilo

Comfortable family cabin in quiet and beautiful natural surroundings. The cabin is located a 10-minute drive from Geilo. This is our beloved family cabin, which we rent out parts of the year. It is built to accommodate the entire extended family with grandparents, children, and grandchildren. The main view from the cabin is down on Holmevatnet with picturesque small islands and further into Skurdalen and Høgåsen (Hardangervidden).

Sætre in Hurum, Nice cross-country ski trails in Hurummarke in winter and in summer we have a fantastic nice archipelago right outside the door with proximity to Oscarsborg, Drøbak, Villa malla and the nature workshop on Håøya is worth a nice visit. Marina and beaches within walking distance of the house. 40 min by car to Oslo and 15 min to Drøbak. By the harbour there are several nice restaurants that serve food and drink.
