Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Buskerud

The cottage is all with all the comforts and very comfortable. The hosts, Hans and Annelene are very hospitable and we got tips for places to visit in the area. We'd love to come back to discover more of this beautiful area.

I stayed one night with my wife and 11-year-old son in Gry's house. Very nice and very large house... a little cold on arrival but the ground floor with living room and kitchen warmed up immediately with the wood stoves. The bedrooms upstairs were a little cool but with the blankets provided we had no trouble sleeping. Gry was always very kind and would have allowed us, if necessary, to stay even after checkout time... Unfortunately, we were unable to take advantage of the opportunity to take a boat ride on the river due to bad weather. Recommended!! Thanks Gry, from Giacomo, Alessia and Marco.

Our stay here was incredible. We booked for 4 people but this place could easily accommodate 8. The place was clean and tidy and offered everything we needed and more, with beautiful surroundings and a private and authentic feel. Things like extra towels, a pantry with some basic items like rice and pasta, food in the freezer and an easy to use washing machine and dryer really made us feel well looked after. We stayed when temperatures were between -10 and -18 Celsius but the house always felt cosy. The nearest Ski bus stop is a 7-10 minute walk away and the nearest supermarket and ‘town’ area are a 25 minute walk away. If you enjoy walking then the location is fine but we opted to hire a car from the airport to use for our transfers which I would highly recommend. This made collecting ski hire, shopping and travelling to the different slopes much easier as there is lots of parking areas. 10/10 stay. I have already recommended to friends and family.

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Rural house with large and cozy outdoor area. Short distances to public transport, large and nice beach, football fields and shops/Holmen shopping center. We had a great time at Therese's house, and would love to come again. Therese was very nice and welcoming and responded quickly to inquiries.

We spent 2 nights as a family of 4, and had a great time. access to the ski slope, was super convenient, cross country tracks directly in front of the house, and the hill for the sleigh as well. beautiful sunrise every morning, shame we couldn't stay longer

We had a really lovely stay. The location is amazing directly on the ski slope with beautiful views. Fred was incredibly welcoming, helpful, and quick to respond. Remember snow chains - the apartment is located high ⛷️

Maybe the cleanest and tidy apartment we have borrowed. The host responded immediately with questions. Lots of towels, coffee pods, etc. The apartment is newly renovated and modern, and appears very welcoming. Heated and ready jacuzzi was a highlight! Will definitely be back!

A really nice apartment that works perfectly. Very well equipped and it is possible to store skis on the ground floor in private enclosure. Ski-in/ski-out works optimally - however, be aware that you start on the black part of piste 22, which however very quickly turns red. However, there are shuttle buses to other areas if too difficult for some family members😊 Definitely an apartment and area we would be happy to come back to!

Very nice apartment located about twenty minutes from the funicular to Gaustatoppen, very quiet and welcoming. I highly recommend it for those who want to enjoy nature and calm although the accommodation is in town

The apartment is great and in excellent condition (new). We were 6 adults and had plenty of room. Convenient with heated garage under the apartment with room for 2 cars. The location is very good in relation to the slalom slope and it is a short walk to/from the hill. Overall very happy with apartment and hosting.

This is a great house to stay in if you're looking for a quiet getaway. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and can easily fit 3 couples comfortably. The porch has a stunning view of the lake. Torstein was a great host and very responsive to our questions.

The place is huge, beautiful, and dreamy. The scenery is spectacular! ❤️We were looking for a place to conduct our wedding dinner. Since it was the 1st of December, it was so hard to find an intimate at the same time a cozy nice place to do that. However, Silje opened her doors for us and accommodated us in her amazing BnB. She is very responsive, approachable, and easy to communicate with. She is extremely helpful and caring for her guests. Moreover, she is also flexible with changes and negotiates fairly. We love her so much and we totally recommend her place to everyone. 😘😍🎉🎉

This spacious, light filled upstairs flat met my needs perfectly. A well stocked kitchen and a small grocery store a fifteen minute walk away meant that cooking at home with fresh eggs from the backyard chickens was a breeze. I felt super comfortable with a cup of coffee on the balcony looking out over the water, curled up on the huge sofa, or welcoming the early sunshine through large windows. It’s stocked with all the basics: soap in the shower, laundry detergent, coffee for the French press, and gorgeous thick fluffy towels. Every return trip from here out will find me planning ahead so I can come back. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who likes stunning views.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! From the moment I arrived, it was amazing. The space was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly cozy, and I appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the home, like a beer in the fridge and fresh fruit. The location was also perfect – quiet, yet close to great restaurants and local attractions. The host was incredibly responsive, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring everything was in order. I truly felt like I was at home. Nice place, great for a weekend getaway. The surroundings are pleasant and the location allows you to get some privacy. The number of bathrooms is short (only 2 for up to 16 guests), and the main gate is a bit inconvenient. The terrace and the jacuzzi are delightful! Renata was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
