House vacation rentals in Burnley

This was our second time at Phils, first time to celebrate my 70th second time for my husbands 75th. When I asked my family where they wanted to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday it was Phils place. Its perfect for our multi-generational family, amples of space and the pool and hot tub are the icing on the cake. We all had the best time and we made lots of memories. Thank you Phil for the use of your lovely home.

The house is amazing! It goes on forever and the rooms are huge and decorated beautifully. Really quiet, peaceful location with wonderful views. We only stayed for one night so didn’t really get the opportunity to make the most of the house - would definitely recommend for a family gathering or celebrating with friends.

Lovely, spacious , well appointed cottage in lovely village. Spa shop and pub very close. Although on a main road in the village we found it quiet in the cottage. Very comfortable beds. Would recommend.

Angela’s place was accurately described. The place was clean, tidy and well equipment. Nice touch with the welcome hamper too! Surrounded by fields, it was nice and peaceful. Nice walks on the surrounding area. The hot tub was clean, and it done the job. Nice looking out in the fresh air. Thanks again for this. Just the ticket.

Lovely stay, the farm was beautiful and the animal feeding was the highlight of our childrens’ stay. Pool was great, super clean everywhere, and they provided maps of local walks which we utilised too. Couldn’t have asked for much more.

Stayed with a group of friends - was fantastic, the gaming room, the pool, the garden/bbq areas, freshly cut football pitch. Only issue was one of the wifi routers didn’t work, but we worked around it.

We had a fantastic stay , the barn was beautiful ,mike was very helpful and friendly. My granddaughters was very happy to see the baby chicks hatching and the lovely fresh eggs went down well for breakfast , we didn't use the pool has the girl's was bad and and it would be nice if it was in with the price , £40 a day is a bit much if ur there for a few days and only using it for about an hour or so a day . A fantastic place well worth a visit

We have had a lovely stay visiting family, the cottage is so cosy, and Denise is a great host, adding extra touches making it so special.

We had a wonderful few days at Winkley Hall Farm. Fantastic property in a wonderful, peaceful location with everything you need for a relaxing, long weekend break. Our communication with our hosts was great from the moment we booked, to arrival and throughout our stay. And the lovely welcome gift was an added surprise and greatly appreciated! We were sad to leave and would definitely recommend this property, and will look to return at some point in the future.

We had a family get together at The Old Vicarage and we had the best time. Very impressed with rooms , the cleanliness and feel of the place .

The bed is sublime. You must try it. Great gaff, great views, great hosts, can’t ask for more. Pendle Hill is about 10 miles away for walkers, options are rife on Uber Eats for the relaxers, the fire pit is there for the holiday makers. Massive thanks to Chloe and Reece for their fabulous hospitality, thoroughly enjoyed my time in Southfield. Will definitely be back!

Niamh was a great host. The place was even better than the pictures and fantastic value for money, Niamh replied fast to any queries we had. If I am in the area again I would 100% book back without a doubt.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this quaint little cottage. It was very clean, well equipped and true to the photos on Airbnb. Ben was very prompt when we had a small issue and very quickly sorted the issue. Lots of lovely walks nearby and easy access to the Peak District. We found a lovely restaurant a 15 minute walk away called Finlay’s - cannot recommend enough. Convenience store literally 2 mins away and Holmfirth a short drive or within walking distance.

We returned home yesterday after our stay at Wycoller Cottage. We didnt want to leave, we had an amazing time. Beautiful Cottage in a beautiful setting. Theresa is really lovely and very responsive when I required any help or advice. I would 100% recommend staying at this stunning cottage xx

Absolutely brilliant stay, comfy and cosy setting just whats needed after a long day. Anna and Nicholas were very responsive, understanding with a change of plans and felt welcomed.

Beautiful cottage with stunning views. Such a peaceful location, the only noise is birdsong, and sheep baaing which was lovely to hear. Definitely a place to relax and unwind. My husband and I are both 70 and fell walks are not for us (too strenuous) so we found Foulridge reservoir and Letcliffe Park which were both more gentle and easier to walk. (both free parking) We also went Greenberfield Lock where we walked along the canal and then have a coffee at the Lock Stop Cafe (free parking). Freddie their dog is an absolute darling but sadly our little dog Lia wouldn't take to him. (Maybe she was jealous of the attention I gave him because he is so lovable!) Thank you Victoria and Ian.

We stayed as Garry had some church business over the Easter so decided to make a break of it. Mark was a fantastic host, very responsive and left lots of lovely treats. House well equipped and modern with a fabulous bathroom and nice master bedroom and kitchen. It is off quite a busy road, so has many local shops and takeaways on the doorstep. It is on a residential street but the neighbours were friendly enough I imagine parking could be a bit of an issue sometimes. We had a nice break and had some nice food and drinks while there. We’ve had an amazing time at Ashley’s cottage! The location is excellent; just a few steps away from the most beautiful forest we’ve been to. Oud dog loved the walks! The riverwalk to town was also great, but more of a climb than anticipated haha. The cottage has rustic wooden floors, a cosy fireplace, a very funky well equipped kitchen with a lovely welkom basket. The marmalade was excellent as well as the prosecco! ! Penash were very responsive and helpful, again thanks for bringing the drying rack! The garden was mature, but a bit of a climb to get to. Thanks so much for everything!
