The Wee Firs is located in the green belt village of Uplawmoor in East Renfrewshire, west-central Scotland. Stunning views of Caldwell Tower and 360' views of beautiful Scottish Countryside. We have free range Ducks & Chicken and we are surrounded by Highland Cows, Sheep, Horses, Rabbits, Pheasants and other amazing wildlife. A Golf Course, Curling Rinks are minutes away, deep in the idyllic countryside but only 15 minutes drive from Glasgow Airport. Relax, explore and enjoy The Wee Firs.

The Cottage is the ideal space for a tranquil holiday with your family or friends. With two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lovely open plan living area, the Cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people (two king-size beds, two singles plus baby cot). ​Both bedrooms and bathrooms are on the ground floor, while on the first floor you will find the open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining area and lounge area with wood burner and Juliet balcony to enjoy the stunning views over the Loch. ​

The Great Hall, Dollarbeg Castle

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.
