Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Burgundy

We stayed at Blandine's place to break up the drive from Calais down to the south of France. Blandine was so friendly and a great host. The apartment was very clean and newly renovated with a very well-equipped kitchen. It is worth noting that the stairs up to the apartment are quite steep and narrow, this wasn't a problem for us at all but may be tricky for guests with mobility issues or small children. The little village is absolutely gorgeous, the canal is perfect for walks and runs, and the views of the castle are stunning. there are a few small restaurants and also a spa. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer!

Nous avons passé un séjour au calme dans un endroit paisible, entouré de champs, rien de mieux pour se reposer. Jean et sa femme ont été très accueillants durant notre séjour

La maison de Germaine est un véritable havre de paix, situé dans un petit hameau très calme. Bien équipé, le logement est vraiment charmant et Anne et Phillipe sont extrêmement accueillants. Anne nous a préparés un délicieux dîner le soir de notre arrivée (entrée, plat et dessert pour 20 euros par personne). Elle avait aussi préparé du pain maison et nous a fourni de la brioche, du beurre, de la confiture et un très bon fromage de chèvre). Tout était très bon, et c'était d'autant plus appréciable qu'il n'y a aucun commerce à proximité. De belles balades et visites historiques à faire dans le coin (la voiture est nécessaire pour les visites). Le jardin dispose d'un terrain de boules et des jeux d'intérieur et d'extérieur sont disponibles pour les enfants. Les deux chambres sont grandes et communicantes, ce qui est pratique avec des enfants. Merci pour tout !!

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé dans le logement. Marie a été une hôte parfaite: elle a été très agréable par message, flexible concernant notre venue qui a pu se faire en toute autonomie, et attentionnée grâce aux nombreux petits détails laissés dans le logement. La maison est impeccable, très propre, et sublime en terme de décoration. La terrasse avec le bain nordique est un vrai plus. Si vous faite un séjour dans le coin, c’est probablement le lieu idéal. Merci à Marie pour tout ça !

Eigenlijk zijn wij bij toeval in Château-Landon terecht gekomen. Wij hadden het verblijf een dag van te voren voor onze terugreis uit Bretagne geboekt, omdat een andere accommodatie geannuleerd werd. Wij waren blij dat het zo spontaan lukte. Het ontvangst was fijn. De ruimte en tuin met uitzicht over het dal zijn heel mooi en perfect voor een paar dagen. De gastvrouw is aardig en altijd bereikbaar.

Irene was an amazing host . She was very responsive and helpful right from the time of booking upto the end of our stay . We were a group of 6 people and it was a comfortable fit with very good kitchen amenities and washer / dryer facilities too . The living space was amazing where the whole group could spend lovely evenings together and in complete privacy . The place is in a very quiet area so one needs to drive out 10-15 min for restaurants . We loved our time here and thank Irene for being such a warm lovely host

De rust in deze prachtige vallei is onbeschrijfelijk. De tuin is gigantisch en charmant, open. De Gîte is met veel liefde opgeknapt. Mooie materialen die sfeer ontlenen aan de woning, zoals antieke balken en travertijn voor de vloer en badkamer. Er staan goede waaiers op de slaapkamer, die het prima te doen maken tijdens een warme nacht. Het uitzicht vanuit binnen is ook érg mooi. Het is net een schilderij. ‘s avonds in de tuin genoten van de wilde dieren die verderop in de vallei zich ophielden. We komen graag terug.

Communication facile avec Roja. parking gratuit à proximité. Centre historique accessible à pied. Appartement spacieux et trés bien équipé pour 4 personnes. Un micro-onde serait parfait et apprécié pour compléter. Je recommande ce logement.

Ludovic was very kind. The place was amazing. Prime location made it very convenient to go out to dinner, get fresh croissants from the local bakery, and do some wine shopping. The backdrop is excellent for family photos. We look forward to returning. The host is very kind and understanding and very flexible

Everything about the apartment was excellent. Beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and had all the amenities you need. Nathalie also provided some recommendations of restaurants and we had some of the best food ever. Location is just perfect and there is an incredible pâtisserie across the road. Recommend staying here. We hope to be back one day!

We had a wonderful stay at Christina’s apartment in beautiful Beaune. The location was so central, the champagne on arrival was a lovely touch and the apartment had everything you needed along with French charm.

Francoise was very responsive, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment itself is charming and cozy, with everything you need and more. It’s very well equipped. The central location made it easy to explore the city. Thanks for having us!

Neat, compact apartment, in an interesting building - right in the centre of Dijon. It was perfect for myself, my partner and our two young boys as we broke up our journey towards the Alps. The central location is handy for local restaurants and tourist attractions (Parking a 5 min walk away). The boys loved the Owl trail in the city centre.

Non accueil par Aurelien, le logement est très bien, au calme. parfait pour mon déplacement professionnel! Tous les équipements sont biens, la literie parfaite pour moi.

Excellent séjour ds le logement de Charlene. Tres cosy, fonctionnel et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Le balcon est lui aussi agréablement aménagé. Un vrai bonheur dépaysant tout en se sentant chez soi.

Super petit apart dans lequel j'ai passé deux nuits pour un déplacement professionnel. Le petit Carrefour city en face est hyper pratique quand on arrive tard!

Catherine was a very lovely and responsive host who always did her best to make us feel welcomed and feel right at home. Her cosy accommodation is a fantastic location to explore the quaint little town of Beaune. She was very accommodating and provided me with a lot of good recommendations and help while planning my visit. The accommodation is full of amenities and had everything we needed during our stay. The decoration was very cute as well! We hope to have the chance to visit Beaune one day and to stay at her apartment again in the future. 😊

Era tudo o que esperávamos, um ambiente com várias comodidades de frente para os vinhedos em Gevrey-Chambertin, localização perfeita para explorar a região. Alex deixou o aquecimento ligado para nos esperar e a cozinha era completa, perfeita para as refeições.

I travelled with my husband and daughter, and we enjoyed our stay. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and its location was convenient, with everything we needed close by. For those who may not be very fit, I recommend carrying light luggage, as the apartment is on the top floor. However, the effort is well worth it.

Das Schleusenhäuschen von Urs ist ein wahrer Geheimtipp für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und herzliche Gastfreundschaft suchen. Die Lage ist traumhaft: Umgeben von Wald und Kanal und mit dem Rauschen der Schleuse im Hintergrund fühlt man sich sofort angekommen und entschleunigt. Urs ist ein ausgesprochen freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber. Dank seiner vielen Tipps konnten wir die Region auf besondere Weise entdecken. In seiner kleinen Boutique konnten wir zudem einige regionale Spezialitäten kennenlernen. Die Unterkunft ist ideal, um abzuschalten und Kraft zu tanken. Gleichzeitig bietet die Umgebung zahlreiche Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Wir haben die Tage sehr genossen und können das Schleusenhäuschen uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
