Beautiful and comfortable, the Rectors Retreat was a wonderful long weekend stay. Private parking was a godsend and meant not paying for expensive parking during our stay. The location is brilliant being just around the corner from Steep Hill and a stones throw from the Castle & Cathedral. No issue with noise in a big city is always a plus. Only things to note was how warm it was upon arrival, all radiators were on full blast. Luckily plenty of lovely space to let cool air in and a fan is provided. The oven caught us out as you have to set a time after setting the temperature. But Valerie was prompt in her response and explanation after we contacted her about having a problem with the oven. An amazing stay in Lincoln near anything and everything you could wish to see or visit in the lovely city.

Easy to find, located behind a pub (pub is currently closed) the lodges are situated away from the pub itself & accessed via the pub car park. Plenty of dedicated parking outside the lodges, with a step to a decked area running along the front of them, to one end of this there is a sloped ramp allowing easier access. The lodge we stayed in was bright, airy, spotless, modern and had all of the basics to provide a comfortable night's rest. Each lodge has it's own en-suite shower room, with only tea & coffee making facilities, but after chatting to Nick, he said he might be able to provide a microwave & small fridge by prior arrangement. Although Nick is not on site, he is nearby & is VERY quick to respond to any questions you might have. We had a lovely stay, with the peace & quiet we were looking for, we would highly recommend Walcott Lodges & will certainly be using them again in the future. Thankyou Nick & Anna

We had a wonderful stay at the Dormy House! Hugo was super responsive and friendly from first contact. The directions were easy to follow and very straightforward to access the property which is so delightful! We immediately felt at home in this spacious apartment set in an expansive private garden visited regularly by munjac deer. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need to self-cater which indeed we did - enjoying the long evenings eating al fresco. We did several walks from the house along the coastal path and down to the incredible sandy beach. And we appreciated the availability of a nice bath to soak in too! Trips to RSPB Titchwell, Hunstanton, Walsingham and Blakeney - all within very easy reach. We can't comment on local eateries as we didn't sample them, but Ronaldo's Norfolk ice cream available from the beach shack is amazing! Thank you Hugo & Taya for allowing us to stay in this very special place!

Really enjoyed our stay. Karla & David's place was excellent and nice and homely. Beautiful location with walks to beach and surrounding area. Site is ideal for visits to the apartment as well as camping and tourer vans. Lovely friendly owners who were very helpful and easy to talk to.

Great chalet. Had everything we needed. Very clean with fab outdoor space that was peaceful. We didn’t need the second bedroom so used as a dressing room which was great. All cleaning products provided including a Hoover. The towels were lovely and felt like blankets. We both felt very relaxed sat outside with a morning coffee and the sun on our face. Short stroll to the dunes with a 5 minute up and over trail straight onto the beautiful beach. Great food and reasonable price drinks at the site bar and restaurant too 👌🏼💯

Paul and Elaine were fantastic hosts. They were very responsive and ensured that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment was comfortable and we slept very well on both evenings. The surroundings were beautiful and we were close enough to local amenities and attractions if travelling by car.

This property was a perfect place to come back to after a days racing at cadwell park. Everything that you need, and a helpful folder to guide you through the necessities. Spotlessly clean. Will absolutely make this our base for future visits

A lovely home away from home! The property was beautifully decorated with a warm and welcoming feel. We especially appreciated the private entrance, which made the stay feel even more peaceful and independent. Olive House is a real gem and has been renovated to an extremely high standard it’s spotless and very well equipped for a stay over . My sister and I really enjoyed our few days in the property. We had a great stay at Lucy's. It was a lovely house in a quiet location and we were able to walk to the Cathedral and castle in 25 minutes. It was a delightful house with excellent amenities. We felt very relaxed and comfortable there. It was a nice base from which to explore this special city.

Joelle, Rob, Alan and family are wonderful humans whose cottage is the very definition of rustic charisma (shot through with beguiling French accents). With a convenience store a 2-minute walk away, the post office across the street and a pub just around the corner, the cottage offers a step back from the world without feeling cut off from it. (The WiFi, for the tech-enabled, is also exceptionally good.) I was sad to end my stay early due to a natural disaster on the premises. I would unreservedly recommend this accommodation minus that once-in-a-lifetime aberration.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in buttercup lodge. The lodge was beautiful and spotlessly clean. There is everything you need in the lodge, you don’t need to leave. It is in a quiet area, with shops and food places near by. The scenery was beautiful, and the hot tub made it even better! Sue made us the best of welcome when we arrived, leaving biscuits, milk, cheese and butter in the fridge. Overall, a great stay. We will definitely be back!

Robin left left some nice coffee and tea, oil and vinegar and biscuits which were well appreciated. The cafe and antique shop downstairs also gave us some scones when we went in to browse . When the front door was a bit stiff Robin responded immediately which was great.

Had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful place, sad to he home. the apartment was lovely and very homely with everything you need and more, Its a nice short walk into the town centre, the area is so peaceful and calming and everyone is so friendly, lots of nice walks close by for the doggies. The hosts have put alot of effort into creating a welcome pack to help you get to know the area and what's close by. Thank you so much would 100% recommend

Absolutely lovely place to stay, can tell the host has spent a lot of time and effort making the place look good. Great location, 5 min walk from sea front too. I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful Airbnb for two nights, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. The interior of the home was stunning—tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail made it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The location was equally impressive, with breathtaking views that added an extra layer of peace and relaxation to the stay. Whether it was enjoying a morning coffee or winding down in the evening, the scenery was truly a highlight.

Another lovely few days in Woodhall Spa. A fabulous location right in the town near to everything you could need. The apartment is beautiful and fabulously quirky! And the treats left by Harriet make for a special break.

Shaip’s place was truly a hidden gem — perfectly located near all the main attractions, which made exploring the area a breeze, especially while traveling with our 2-year-old. The apartment was spotless, warm, and wonderfully cozy — a real home away from home. Parking was also incredibly convenient, with off-street parking available right nearby, which made coming and going super easy. And not to mention the car park a few yards away When we arrived, the heating wasn’t working initially, but Shaip went above and beyond to fix it right away. He responded within minutes and even came over personally to ensure everything was up and running — such an attentive and caring host! Shaip’s hospitality was second to none, and we genuinely couldn’t recommend this place more. If we could give 10 stars, we absolutely would! Thank you so much, Shaip — one love! 🌟
