House vacation rentals in Buncrana

Came to Ireland for a family vacation - 8 adults and a 1 year old. This was our third AirBnb on the trip and cannot say enough about how wonderful it was! So much history but with modern amenities. It was the best part of our trip. Went on many walks - over to the castle and to Harvey's Point stopping at the Famine Pot and seeing great views of the lake & farm animals along the way. Stayed three nights and used the pool/pond and sauna every day. The dining & living rooms were really spacious. We cooked all of our meals - the kitchen is a great set up with loads of dishes and anything you could need. The butcher in town had a great selection. Musical instruments were a huge bonus. It was quite warm for May so we didn't have a chance to have any fires - but the fireplaces would be wonderful for cool nights. There is also the 'wagon' which has a double bed, small kitchen and seating area and an adjacent full bathroom available. Rose was always a message away and super helpful. Loved it!

We were astonished by this place. The house is so deceiving from the front but once you enter it’s completely modern with an en-suite in every single bedroom, you would swear you were staying in the hotel itself. The rooms were spotless and the staff on site were absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back here again soon and will be recommending this place to everyone who is looking for a staycation. We had a wonderful time at Barbara's place! The space was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail really stood out, everything from the cozy linens to the thoughtful little touches like extra towels and the selection of breakfast items, made our stay feel extra special. Barbara was extremely welcoming and responsive, making the check-in process smooth. I truly appreciated how thoughtful and accommodating she was throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy, convenient spot to stay!

An unforgettable retreat with breathtaking views of sloping hillsides and the lough in the distance. The house is designed to showcase the scenery, with huge windows throughout that flood the space with light and offer stunning vistas from every room. The pool is large enough for both exercise and fun, and the outdoor wood-fired hot tub is a perfect way to unwind while enjoying the scenery and smell of wood fire. Inside, the kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, making it easy to cook and entertain. Luxury linens and comfortable furnishings make every moment indoors feel indulgent. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered to create a space that’s both stylish and deeply relaxing. A perfect escape — peaceful, beautiful, and hard to leave. We can’t wait to come back.

This home is worth any price they ask! The magnificent view made us want to simply sit at the huge window and watch the days go by. But there were many other things to do in the area. Meeting the host was an enjoyable experience. Every possible convenience was available. The bedding was comfortable and exactly as described. We fully intend to go back again.

We had a great few nights away in Laura's and John's stunning home. We have house envy lol. So quite and chilled there. With the best beaches in the country only a short drive away. Close to Buncrana as well if it's coffees and stout your looking.

This accommodation is perfectly situated on the outskirts of Buncrana. Buncrana seamlessly accessible by foot. Beautiful beach or heritage walks on the door step with coffee docks conveniently located near the property. House is new build, very modern, spacious and comfortable. Ideal for large groups and families. Cannot recommend enough.

We had a great stay here as a large group of 14. It was really spacious and clean. 20 minutes walk into Buncrana and with beautiful coastal views. Lots of bars and beaches nearby. We would definitely come back.

How is this for the review? We had a lovely weekend in Rose Cottage. Shops and restaurants were just a 20 minute walk away.Everything was spotless and the kitchen well equipped. There were plenty of towels and a fabulous drying room. We had a problem with the shower that Gerard responded to immediately. The hot tub had seats for 3 but could accommodate 4. If you want to use it the first evening you would need to ask to have it heated in advance. Although we didn't use it, the games room was great. The garden was not secure but offered plenty of space. I would highly recommend Rose Cottage.

What a spacious, fully equipped and tastefully furnished home. We spent 4 nights here and it was a lovely space for us to relax in when not exploring the west coast. It surpassed our expectations from the photos. We loved our stay here. Thank you Denise.

The cottage was in a beautiful spot, lovely view looking out onto the river, the house was very comfortable & clean. Emma was very helpful & replied to any queries straight away. We also left something at the cottage which she kindly dropped off at our relations house after we left. We would definitely stay here again & recommend it to other people

Great place to stay and very thoughtful host. The hot tub was set up for us and ready to go when we arrived (which was lovely!) as well as clear instructions for everything. The accommodation itself was clean and very nice, we loved the wee treats on arrival. We would highly recommend this host and space for anyone looking to explore Donegal.

Aisling’s home was perfect for my month long stay. Very roomy everyone had their own bathroom and bedroom. This home is perfect for families or groups of friends traveling together. The kitchen had everything to cook at home or there are near by restaurants and takeout a short drive to Letterkenney. There’s a nice comfortable area outside when the weather is good. It’s an area that you can take walks to the ocean seeing sheep, cows and old ruins. When we had any questions or issues Aisling was quickly responsive. I would highly recommend this home.
