Cabin vacation rentals in Buffalo City

Serene, scenic, and so comfortable! We loved our stay at Trout Creek Cabin, and hope to stay again sometime. On this trip, we managed to dodge some rain for a bike trip in Lanesboro one day, and a hike up to the lookout another day. Otherwise, we indulged in the view, took naps, read books, played games, had long meaningful chats, and realized in the hot tub. We couldn't dictate the weather, but we could not have asked for a better stay. Thank you!

Great place felt right at home and fully stocked kitchen and linens and blankets and towels for our group! Little slice of heaven to relax and rest and enjoy our weekend.

WOW! Whispering Oaks is 100% hands down ABB at its finest! I can't actually believe this place is available as it is incredibly special. Lisa is the most proactive and genuine host I have ever stayed with. Don't hesitate if its available because Whispering Oaks is usually booked solid. Fantastic accommodation for you and your entire group!

Excellent responsive host! Beautiful, private cabin with a phenomenal view of the Mississippi River valley. Inside there is a Lovely, enchanting & comfortable cabin atmosphere. Great fireplace! Good hot tub. Nice kitchen with everything you need. Except they need to upgrade the skillets & pots, which are very old. We left a note communicating this point. If you like pure privacy....this is the place! Transporting heavy luggage to and from the cabin can be a challenge. A long descending sidewalk can be difficult, especially for older guests. Young & strong....no problem. Overall we really enjoyed our visit. This cabin is a Gem!! We will consider a return trip.

Adorable, little cozy cabin. Was perfect for a couples getaway for the weekend. We loved the hot tub and area to have a fire. Awesome porch for having meals outside as well.

I stayed here with 4 college friends and we had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed to cook meals and relax. The hot tub and fire pit were fun extras. The hallway bunk beds are reasonable for shorter/smaller adults and were actually quite comfortable. The location is absolutely quiet and private with a great view over the river bottoms. Highly recommend the Stockholm Pie Company, Villa Belleza Winery, and the Stone Barn pizza in the local area!

Jodi gave us good recommendations when it came to activities and restaurants. Good location. We enjoyed our stay at her cabin.

Enjoyed our stay. We visited quite a few Amish businesses and their produce auction. The beds were comfortable and the birds were amazing. Loved sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the birds. Also had a doe and fawn come walking right by. We had almost perfect weather so were able to have the windows open. Nice hot shower and plenty of space. I preferred the outhouse over the incinerator toilet but that was just my preference. We did have rain one morning and couldn't cook outside. A hot plate or electric griddle would be a great addition. Other than that the stay was great. We would definitely stay again. Check in was easy and a nice note with local suggestions was so nice. We did travel to Fennimore and I would recommend the train museum if you are looking for things to do.

Roland was extremely kind and easy to talk to. He gave us recommendations for food and activities in the area. He was very respectful of or privacy and gave notice any time he had to do yard work. The honesty Bar(n) was an awesome space to hang out in. We LOVED the cats that hung around also.

We just needed a place for the night and found a real gem! Greg’s place is adorable! And it was spotless, both inside and out, which is no easy task ten minutes after all the snow melts!! Beds were comfortable. Shower was hot. Everything we needed was there. We felt right at home and fell just a little more in love with the area. We will be back!!!

We had a wonderful stay! The house was cute, cozy, and incredibly relaxing, exactly what we needed for a peaceful getaway. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up. We’d definitely come back!

Second visit, & just as wonderful as my original visit. Cabin was clean & free of clutter. Quiet & safe neighborhood. Can’t wait to come back again next year!

The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The yard and surrounding area were more beautiful than the pictures can show. It was peaceful with lots of birds, deer, and other animals to admire. I highly recommend Nature's Nest for a quiet and peaceful getaway!

Cozy and clean cabin, great for a family stay. We only spent one night but would be a great spot for campfires, grill outs, or walks to nearby winery and shops! Would recommend staying here!

Large, spacious property that can accommodate big groups with multiple bedrooms, bathrooms and a functional kitchen. Highly oriented to the hunting community and had the appropriate decor to match. Quick trips into Mondovi and a manageable distance from Eau Claire. Overall, the property well fit our needs to have a convenient location for our group of 10 attending a country wedding.

Joe and Jean were the best hosts yet (we travel quite a bit)! My family was visiting while my little boy had Mayo clinic appointments and they showed so much care and generosity! Joe was quick to offer a helping hand with backing up a boat trailer (thank you) and Jean and the pups took us on a Kabota ride to explore. We will most definitely be back to visit these two fine humans along with their two sweet puppies! We miss them already! A++++ on cleanliness, organization, stocked kitchen, toiletries, laundry supplies, cozy blankets, grills, etc. etc.

Morgan’s place was beautiful!!! Absolutely loved the sun room, all the windows, and the view. The place was very clean and comfortable. Lake City, MN, has lots to do. People are friendly and the food is great!

Zeke’s place was fantastic. They provide all the life jackets and water toys you need. The cove is peaceful with a great park within a short walk with playgrounds. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Best Regards, Robert J Brue

The Driftless cabin was a great setting for a long weekend getaway with family. There was fishing, shopping, and great dining in nearby Veroqua. We enjoyed sitting on the porch together and taking in the beautiful surroundings.
