The Cowboy Cabin in Sandnes

Our very tiny Cowboy Cabin was built after repeated visits to the motel The Old West Inn, in Willits, CA (USA). The house was first planned as a playhouse, then it became more advanced and has served as a playhouse and guest house. Electricity and wifi are installed, cabin toilet and cabin sink (there is no shower). There is a fire pit, sundeck on the roof with sun from morning to evening, if the sun is shining. The cabin is tiny, but has many smart solutions for good well-being and coziness.

Benedikte's house on architect-designed Svindland farm

The Benedikte house is about 10 min drive from Egersund city center and about 5 min from E39. We have attempted to recreate the hospitality of Benedikte - the last one to stay in the old house - in this modern and completely newly built farmhouse on the outskirts of the courtyard of the Svindland farm. Here guests will find peace and idyll. On the farm there are horses, we have two dogs and a cozy peacock that runs freely. The house is very modern and well-equipped.

Welcome to Stolpabua! Here you live in rural surroundings just by the sea and the beautiful Jærkysten. We have spent the winter of 2021 renovating the old cabin that has been here on the farm since 1936. Now we hope our guests will enjoy themselves here at Brekkekanten as much as we do. Welcome to our family cabin. You can enjoy the nice view over the Lysefjord, special from the terrace. It is just a few minutes from the see, where you can take a bath. The cabin has a perfect location for a lot of hikings in the area: Preikestolen, Flørli, Kjerag and a lot of other places. It is only a few minutes by car to the Forsand quay, and departures for Flørli and Lysebotn.

Naustet is brand new and part of the lake house environment towards Soknasundet. There is a dock with fishing opportunity. Buildings and furniture are made by the renowned architect Espen Surnevik. If you come by boat there is plenty of room for the boat at the pier. Naustet is part of Sokn Gard (see fb) which has many animals you can visit, and the garden has a 5 km hiking trail.
