The Lodge - Built in the 1850s

HelaniRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We stayed at this BnB for one night over the weekend (Saturday to Sunday) as a group of six friends, and we had a wonderful experience. The kitchen space was perfect for us to cook together, and the outdoor area was ideal for a BBQ—we really enjoyed making use of both. Inside the house, everything was spotless. The space was spacious and comfortable, with clean bed linens and a large, tidy washroom. It felt very welcoming and well-maintained. Our host, T, was fantastic—kind, proactive, and quick to respond to any questions we had. He also offered us flexible check-in and check-out times, which was a huge plus and made our stay even more convenient. Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely recommend this place!

Modern little hide away

Ștefan-CristianRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Very nice house, neighbourhood, and surrounding area (it's right by national cycle route 43, by the river, very beautiful path). Beds were very comfy and the blackout curtains meant my family slept like babies. Very nice & spacious back garden too. Drive can fit more than one car if you have average sized cars. Will definitely use again in the future
A charming stone cottage is nestled among lush greenery, featuring a welcoming entrance and large windows. Bright orange and purple flowers bloom along the pathway, enhancing the natural landscape that surrounds the accommodation.

Bwthyn Y Saer | Accessible | Dog Friendly

David RichardRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Our stay in the Swansea cottages was beyond our expectations. It is one of the few places that indicate they are accessible was truly accessible. From the gentle sound of the stream outside our bedroom to the sounds of the sheep in the pasture next door it was a very relaxing place to stay. The owners also put a book together that let you know all the pubs, places to see and more that was very helpful. Lastly the owner was extremely friendly giving us the history of where we were staying. Highly recommend these cottages.

Sylvia and Niek are welcoming and friendly hosts. I really enjoyed my stay. The bed is very comfortable, there is a large private bathroom, and the garden is inviting. I shared the kitchen and was able to use a whole shelf in the fridge. The neighborhood is also safe and peaceful.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely countryside home! The house was spotless upon arrival—very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The views of the surrounding countryside made for a perfect escape from the city. It was the ideal place to relax and unwind. The kids were able to enjoy the open space and surrounding area. Helen was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire stay, always quick to answer any questions and ensure we had everything we needed. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet, clean, and cozy getaway in a beautiful rural setting!
