In winter the Fribourg ski slopes (Moléson, Charmey, La Berra, Les Paccots) are located about 20 to 30 minutes away. For snowshoe lovers many marked trails are also nearby. We had a pleasant stay in Portalban; close to beaches, 3 lakes, hiking; and ideal starting point for visiting many remarkable Swiss sites (Gruyères, Le Creux du Van, Avenches, Morat, Bern, Solothurn, La Chaux-de-Fond...) The cottage is quiet, close to nature; (we often had a visit from a fox); on the edge of the marsh. Philipp was a kind and attentive host to us. We recommend this property. Sylvain and Elisabeth

We stayed at Agnes' Airbnb for a “ladies weekend.” Check-in was very pleasant, via key box. The location is extremely quiet with very nice views. The Airbnb had everything you need and matched the description. However, the rooms looked a little larger on the listing than they were, but this was sufficient for us. Since we were there after the summer season, it was ideal for us that there was a fireplace so that we did not get cold. If we had any questions, Agnes was immediately available and gave us answers. Thank you :)

We really enjoyed the apartment. Although the street is close, thanks to the good windows, you hardly notice it! The beds have good mattresses, which was very important to us! Marianne is very friendly, helpful and discreet. We made nice excursions, but also stayed in the cozy apartment and chilled! Bevaix is a small place, easily accessible by train or car. Through the vineyards you can walk to the lake and for shopping everything is within walking distance! Restaurant, bakery, grocery store, pharmacy, etc. everything is there! We'd love to come back
