Chevroux is a popular resort in the canton of Vaud in the French-speaking part of Switzerland with a campsite and around 100 weekend and holiday cottages near the lake. It has a sports marina with over 1000 berths. The apartment on the ground floor of a vacation home with a large garden was completely renovated in 2020 and is located right on the edge of the nature reserve "La Grande Cariçaie". Although the place is exposed to street noise during rush hour, the nights are quiet and the accommodation gives on the terrace side.
