Notre hébergement au nid dans les arbres était parfait , il faut aimer le calme, la nature et les choses simples. la plage est à 20mns à pied ( on peut éviter la route par le chemin ), de belles balades sont possibles non loin de là. We had a wonderful stay in the treehouse quirky and very different with excellent views great location for Carlingford and two minutes walk from a friendly local bar extremely dog friendly Padraig went out of his way to meet us and was very responsive and helpful thanks so much Karen Stephen and Jessie 🐶

This is a really beautiful place to stay. it's lovely and secluded and very peaceful! Stephen & Sandy (and Cara the dog!) were wonderful hosts and gave us lots of advice on local walks and things to do in the area. The house was lovely and comfortable and we could have quite easily spent several days chilling in the garden and exploring the treehouse! We would highly recommend staying here, it's truly wonderful!

We stayed in the treehouse & it was exactly what was described. All the kids loved it - whole area was enjoyable & the kids loved the play area & games room. Could not recommend staying here enough - made some lovely memories. Views over the fields were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A fabulous "tree top lodge" to spend a few days in for my teenage daughter's birthday. Great access to Stockport upon Avon (cinema for her, tourist hot spot for me) and Cadbury World (short drive away) and loved the hot tub & BBQ too!

What a wonderful pocket of peaceful tranquility. Sherron was very friendly and welcoming with an impressive first impression. Thrilled with our experience and will definitely be returning in the summer.

Stayed at many hotels and AirB&Bs and I must say this was by far the most beautiful, peaceful getaway we’ve ever had. The treehouse itself is more wonderful than the pictures and there is literally everything you need there. Lucinda hasn’t cut any corners whatsoever and so much effort has been put into making this place absolutely incredible. As for the location, you are free to walk round acres of stunning countryside and woodland areas and it feels like you’re the only people on earth there. This weekend has exceeded everything we could have hoped for and would certainly stay again and recommend to anyone looking to escape reality for a couple of nights.

Our one night stay in the treehouse was fabulous… Set in a private spot with great views the treehouse provided surprisingly spacious accommodation. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen area is functional with sink, toaster, hob, fridge and utensils. The separate private toilet/shower is literally a few steps from the main treehouse, it is set up as a shower wet room with WC, very clean and modern. The outdoor space is great with table and chairs and a fire pit that is great for bbq cooking and also supplying heat sitting out on a chilly evening, we loved listening to the abundant bird song whilst watching deer, peacocks/hens and the odd rabbit while the sausages sizzled over the embers. At night the whole area is subtly illuminated by atmospheric lighting for pathways and coloured lighting into trees to create a wonderful after dark strolling experience… We highly recommend the treehouse and the other quirky accommodations we saw at Moonacres, and will stay again.

Myself and my Husband stay here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Victoria was there to meet us when we arrived and showed us around her amazing place. It has everything you need and also local pubs that do amazing food if you want to venture out. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Victoria :)

Bigger and better than the photos, all the great reviews here are to be believed, our only regret is we weren’t staying longer, key instructions are very simple and easy to set up ahead of time to activate at the checkin time, google maps led us to the correct entrance. Trees and foliage between the main house and the Cabin make this feel very private, with the sauna and hot tub a short walk away and even more private! Lots of things to discover and nice additions and touches here and there. Heating and lighting all straight forward and labelled on the switches and the controllers, beds were all very very comfortable. We will definitely be back in the summer and for a couple of nights, would recommend this to couples, adult groups and parents/kids, there is something here for everyone!

Such a wonderful find. The location is so private and peaceful. The attention to detail from the hosts is outstanding, from the placement of bird feeders to encourage wildlife to comfortable viewing points to homely touches in the cabin - we were immediately comfortable and felt at home in the space. Small touches such as fresh flowers, fresh bread, coffee and games available made for a fantastic welcome. The initial tour was friendly and helpful, advising how to use the facilities, however instructions are also available for if we needed a reminder. The hosts provided recommendations for local amenities and restaurants and we felt they were available for queries but not at all intrusive to the stay. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub and new fire deck - fantastic with a glass of wine and evening cheese board! We stayed here on the night of our wedding and could not have asked for a more perfect stay.

John, who built the treehouse welcomed us on arrival and gave us a concise tour of its features and amenities. He was very warming and a pleasure to listen to. You WILL NOT be disappointed with the treehouse, it was amazing in every sense of the word. Pristine, charming, characterful, warm, unique are just some of the many superlatives we could use. The care and attention that has been lovingly poured into creating this place is inspirational. Do book without hesitation.

We had a lovely stay in this amazing hidden in the woods lodge. Catherine was very helpful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed. The furnishings are lovely and the hot tub in the trees is just perfect! Area is fantastic for exploring- we did a great circular walk without needing to drive anywhere. Great wee trip!

Beautiful place the team arranged birthday bunting and a bouquet for my girlfriend extremely helpful and attentive if necessary, had plenty of fire wood for the hot tub outside which was stunning and such a cozy inside place. The team have made a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere which we adored. Would’ve changed nothing so wholesome and quiet ☺️

This was an extra special trip for us, the perfect place to celebrate our 5-year anniversary. The 6-hour journey was absolutely worth it - the cabin and surroundings were pure magic! We booked based on the reviews, and they were all spot on! Bernice and Huw are incredible hosts, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble, and their hospitality made our stay even more special - 10/10! We loved everything - the cozy indoor fire, the fire pit, the hammock, and the peaceful woods. The secret bedroom door felt straight out of The Hobbit, a hidden sanctuary adding to the charm (we'll pretend it didn't take us 15 mins to find! haha). The small kitchen was super handy, the bed was big and comfy, and the cabin was so warm and cozy. Even the compost toilet was surprisingly odor-free! Honestly, we’ll 100% be back and will be recommending this amazing place to everyone. Thank you, Huw and Bernice, for creating such a magical retreat!

Caroline was an amazing host , everything was great from the moment we arrived . The hot tub was ready and heated when we got there and everything inside was perfect . Caroline provides a very warm welcome with food in the fridge and even bottles of prosecco ! 🍾 We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t say one bad thing ! Tadhg 🐾 was also a plus to the stay :) Thanks again Caroline !

Mark’s treehouse is so special. It was a wonderful, magical escape from the hustle and bustle of life. The treehouse was very comfortable and everything had been thought of. It was simple in the best possible way, but with all we needed for a great weekend of relaxation and restoration. My son couldn’t believe he got to stay in an actual treehouse! Mark was the perfect host. Thoughtful, welcoming and incredibly warm. His homemade loaves delivered to the treehouse each morning were a delicious start to the day. Cannot recommend this lovely getaway more! It’s unique and a real gem.

Carol and Ned were fantastic hosts. They were very attentive, extremely polite and welcoming. Carol gave great instructions on finding the property and we were warmly greeted by Ned, Carol and their wonderful dogs. Carol suggested some lovey local walks, which were peaceful and fun. Carol and Ned were very helpful throughout the stay. Their shepherds hut has unbelievable views, the area is peaceful and you have everything you need to relax and disconnect from the world. The hot tub is a perfect addition to start and end the day! Could not recommend more if you need a great location to stay to explore north Wales and Snowdonia.

We love this house in the woods! The sunsets were epic and the moonlight through the trees was gorgeous every night! The kitchen as well fitted out and it’s nice and laid out. Kids loved the funky beds in the hallway

Our stay in the treehouse was magical. The surroundings were exquisite, and we found a true sense of peace during our time there. Jo was a wonderful host—thoughtful, welcoming, and attentive. The attention to detail in the treehouse and amenities made the stay feel effortless; so much thought and love has clearly gone into the experience. Beautiful place, beautiful setting. So peaceful, but only a short drive to Kilkenny City Centre if needed/wanted. Couldn't recommend more. Thanks Kate, James, and Moby 🐶 for a lovely stay. I will be back :)

We enjoyed our stay in Nathan's hut. Perfect location for walking the end section of the South West Coast Path.

It was amazing, Carol was always attentive and willing to help. aboutd There is no way to explain how incredible and magical the house is, it looks like something out of a dream. I had a great rest and the peace that the landscape brings to us was incredible. My boyfriend and I loved it and want to go back soon. Very much. Thank you for the stay.
