Vacation rentals with a sauna in British Isles

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

Jay's Nest it's a great place to stay. Friendly hosts, convenient location, close to the centre of the village and many beautiful walks on the doorstep. Perfect base for those who wish to explore Lake District. The flat has home from home feel. The kitchen has all essentials and no need to wash up, dishwasher does it for you. Clean, working washing machine with dryer if needed. The seating area very cosy with nice views through windows, you can relax after a long day walking. Big bedroom with comfortable bed and plenty of space for storing your gear/clothes etc. Again, super clean, couldn't ask for more. Fair size spotless ensuite with good size shower. Plenty of space to keep what you need in the bathroom. Sadly, due to the weather, we were not able to use the outside area where having a morning coffee or evening drink must be super enjoyable. It was our first time in LD and we will be back to Jay's Nest, that's for sure. Needless to say, we highly recommend Jay's Nest!

We had a great time at Emilie and Jean Christophe's place. Responsive hosts, and available for any requests. The accommodation is very well located, clean, and has all the necessary amenities. We will recommend it +++ for people visiting Le Touquet!

Kevin was the best host and his little apartment was perfect for us. The horses in the landscape were magical. Kevin was extremely accommodating through my husband getting food poisoning. Him and his wife did everything possible to help. They are lovely people and we would absolutely stay here again.

Steve is a rock star of Airbnb hosts. He is proactive, warm, provides a wealth of worthwhile recs, and greets you upon arrival and reviews everything about the house and area. Wow. He was accommodating with our schedule, which we really appreciated. He left some snacks and the house was stocked with essentials. When I emailed, he responded ASAP. Amazing. The apartment is sweet and has a charm. Highlight was the patio as we were blessed with beautiful weather. Loved the sauna! The apartment building itself is worn as is the staircase in the building and the stairwell. Feels like typical city living, but the area is great and easily walkable to most things. Furthest walk was the jail at 30 min but otherwise most things about 15, and Guiness Storehouse is around the corner. Grocer, great bakeries and coffee shops right out the door. All in all, an excellent stay.

Everything about our stay in the boys dormitory was superb. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in such a unique accommodation especially with all of the access to the abbeys modern facilities was a huge bonus. Me and my wife couldn’t get enough of the lake views from our sitting room.

Would happily recommend and visit again, the facilities provided were excellent! Communication with the hosts was clear and quick, no problem at all. We brought food with us based on the description and had no problem with the Aga. The heating and WiFi was perfect. Loved having the use of the terrace and garden! Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Thanks for having us.

Highly recommended and great value. This was a great find. The roof terrace has wonderful views of the London skyline/landmarks and Mark was a great host. We used the buses (10 mins walk to bus stop) and Ubers to get around - both really easy from the apartment. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are modern and clean. There is lots of tech in the apartment which was fun and easy to use. The kitchen is really well equipped and the sofa is very comfortable. very minor note: People who are significantly higher than average height or width may find the rooftop access staircase a challenge. The apartment itself is really spacious.

We had such a lovely stay. The flat is very clean, nicely decorated and the outdoor area is beautiful. The sauna was fab and we loved taking a dip in the water. Would definitely stay again!

This place is really thoughtfully set-out. There's everything you need and the hosts have gone above and beyond to lay out clear instructions for everything you might need. The bed was comfy and we really enjoyed staying there. We didn't have a car, but were there for an event hosted right next to it - there's not a lot you can easily walk to, so if you're there for a weekend, you might want to bring / hire a car. However, there's a great pub super close by which also does breakfast and has a great playground for kids. Ideal if you're going to do lots of walks / hikes.

The views were breathtaking and the peace and quiet at the cottage was just what we needed. The views of the village, the sun set and the full moon were all beautiful gems we got to experience at Top of t’hill. You really have made it a cosy and comfortable stay, and it was a perfect getaway, away from the hustle and bustle of city life. The gym and sauna were great facilities that we benefitted and enjoyed too. Your eco environment friendly home and surroundings was an inspiration to us. Finally, your hospitality and kindness, and lovely chats with us made us feel like old friends! We really enjoyed our stay here at Whitbarrow. The apartment was lovely, with the special addition of the balcony overlooking the beautiful views, which we enjoyed with a cuppa or two. Our boys loved the toys and the drawing that was available to play with but, of course, their highlight was the pool. Local distance to Lowther, buttermere, Penrith, pooley Bridge, Keswick etc so lots to do. We’ll be back soon! 🙂

The Hideaway is a perfect little spot to run away to. it's in an incredibly beautiful spot and super quiet. it's a lovely little walk to the village of Graffham (Cheryl gave us excellent instructions) there is a cute little village shop that does coffees and sells all that you could need. The Forrester's Arms is a lovely pub but we ate at the Woodcote which was excellent. The space is large and comfortable. The sofas are perfect for a nap as they are massive. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. The shower was lush as were the faith in nature smelly bits. would completely recommend

The property was perfect, the pictures are lovely and they reflect the quality. The property once there is outstanding and very peaceful. It’s one of those hidden Gem AirBnBs, we loved the stay and will hopefully return.

This is a beautiful house with a gorgeous view and a very helpful host. What more can you want? The wow factor is the view! The large windows look over the sea giving a spectacular view particularly as the sun sets. The house is furnished and equipped to a high standard. We were an extended family of 12 and there was plenty of space (incuding the bothy) for all of us. The location is very handy for eateries and shops. The beach in front of the house is rocky but there is a lovely large sandy beach 5 minutes away. Thank you Zoe for being such a helpfully host.

We used Evelyn's place as a base for exploring the Northern part of Skye. The view and sense of space were worth every penny. When it was warm sitting on top of the hill behind the house was a great viewpoint and when it was too cold to sit outside the view from the main room was brilliant. Dreamy place! We spontaneously decided to spend a night in an Airbnb. Check-in & check-out went smoothly. The accommodation itself is well maintained and simply great to come down and relax. I can only recommend it to anyone. Always happy

Lovely place to stay, loved the bedrooms that were different styles. Close to Whitstable and the use of the private lake was a nice bonus as we do paddled boarding. Perfect 👌

Loved our stay out in Teelin. Lovely walk down to the Rusty Mackerel and over the hill to the slieve league cliffs. Stayed late for craic at the Mackerel a couple of nights. Good base to explore Donegal county. Sauna in the house was much appreciated too.

Great host who provided lots of local knowledge. The property was amazing with great views and very relaxing. Just what we needed.
