Absolute gem of a holiday home! Really quirky, has everything you need for a comfortable stay and in the most beautiful surroundings. We were sad to leave! Will most definitely be planning another trip here

Very good spacious stays, very good spa, matches the photos well, small breakfast offered, very generous, shops nearby, great, to be done without hesitation.

We had a fantastic stay at Pheasant’s Roost! The view is beautiful and the house is very private - sitting in the hot tub on a sunny day was glorious :) It is surprisingly spacious inside with a well provisioned kitchen. Communication was very responsive and Hannah met us on arrival to explain how everything worked.

Absolutely beautiful place so quiet and peaceful. Paula is a brilliant host and lovely people person. Looks like something from a movie 😊 1000% recommended to everyone

Hannah's place was just perfect. Beautifully put together. Very homely and stylish. Spotlessly clean and a great location to explore town. We had a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

We loved our stay with Polly! The room is small, but exactly as described and the beds were comfortable! Polly is so friendly and her dog is the cutest! Great experience staying in what we called the “prison cave” ❤️

The Underhill House is a truly peaceful place set on the side of a hill entirely surrounded by woodland. Duncan's chickens roam freely (and lay delicious eggs) and the whole space is filled with birdsong from dawn. The garden is spacious and has plenty of BBQ paraphernalia, including a smoker. The hot tub is clean, comfortable, and easy to use. The main building is absolutely amazing, with extensive hand-painted murals depicting pastoral scenes from Tokien's universe. It's a huge space for with a really comfy kingsize bed set on a raised platform with views of the garden/woodland. The kitchen has a wood-fired stove/oven for cooking, and there is a wood-burning stove in the living area which really helps to warm up the large space in the evenings when it's cooler; plenty of wood quality seasoned wood is provided. Parking is good, and it's easy enough to find if you read the instructions. Duncan was extremely friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. Highly recommended!!

Great stay again our club have been coming for years. The area was tidy and there was plenty wood for our bbq. Good additional parking spaces, hot water never ran out despite >30 on the site. We will be back.
