We had the most wonderful time. The church was fantastic and it felt a privilege to stay in a historic building that was also comfortable, spacious and had all the amenities we needed. literally a home from home. 18 Century Renovated, Former Church in Kenmare

The Vestry is great, well located and an very unique space. Michelle was very communicative and sent over useful check-in instructions. It can get very cold, it's a 200 year old building so that's not unusual, but the heating is very effective in the bedrooms. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of pots/pans and crockery. I didn't like that you had to pay for heating and for wifi separately and that there was a washing machine but no detergent. Not talking large sums but would be so much easier just to incorporate it into the price.

Literally the best stay I have ever had. My daughter and I had the best weekend staying in the beautiful chapel!! Speechless when I walked in and getting to eat each meal on the gallery looking out at the stunning view, it was exactly like the pictures Thank you so much for having us and I would recommend to everyone

A beautiful Old Church transformed into a Beautiful home. It was relaxing and beautiful outside. The Host was really nice, friendly and sweet and knew all the local information. The Room itself was really comfortable, as well as the bed. We did use the kitchen to cook and it has most of everything we needed. The local towns are extreamly beautiful and close to Avebury Hedge, Stonehenge, Lackock Abbey Where you can find Areas where Harry Potter was filmed. I would ABSELUTLY stay there again if i can.

Stunning 5* Converted Church, Strangford, Co Down

Four generations of our family stayed here for a week while here to celebrate my sons wedding in Tullyveery Killyleagh. What a week of weather! What a fantastic property which has been beautifully and lovingly restored. Very comfortable seats and beds and the space can be and is comfortably warm despite the high ceilings in the living area. We never needed to use the log burning stove .The road outside can be busy during the day but quiet at night. Strangford is a lovely wee place with a few shops and eating places and walks on the doorstep. NT Castleward is very nearby too. A 5 min ferry takes you over the other side to Portaferry where you can explore that side of Strangford loch. We enjoyed our trip very much and would love to return one day. Many thanks to Marty who is very helpful and responsive to communications

Really enjoyed our stay - the Chapel is gorgeous, bed is super comfy and location is great. Lots of nice walks nearby and we ventured over to the coast on one of the days too which was lovely. Overall would definitely recommend and hope to visit again soon!

From booking to leaving Gillian has been fantastic. I booked this for a gift for my son and his partner. Gillian went above and beyond sending me something I could print off to give my son and even changed the date for me. My son said the accommodation was stunning. It was clean and to a high finish. He claims it’s the most comfortable bed he’s ever slept in. Gillian was really helpful during the visit and recommended some places to eat which were fab. Location was great. My son said it was a short walk to the beach and a short train ride into Liverpool. I would definitely recommend booking a stay here. Thank you Gillian for being an amazing host!

We stayed here for three nights as a family of four. Janette is a great host - clear instructions, really helpful at answering questions and very responsive - it’s not a surprise she is a superhost. The property is as shown in the pictures, a beautiful Grade II converted church founded in 1689, restored in 1963 and renovated in 2018. The downstairs has a bathroom with toilet and shower, a modern open plan layout with space for a large sofa, six seating dining table and kitchen, which is modern but retains the elegant character of the church with items like the pulpit woven into the design. There is a room with two bunk beds and a double bed downstairs. In the gallery accessible by a small staircase there is also a four poster bed. The property is well located for the amenities of Charnmouth it is on the High Street so has walkable access to shops, pubs and restaurants. It is 10 minutes walk to Charmouth beach.

Lovely converted chapel. A unique space that has been carefully thought about. It was more than comfortable and welcoming inside , with everything you should need to prepare food to eat in. Whole place was very clean and warm. Only a 10 minute drive from Bala. And quite a central bas to explore further afield. Llangollen is a must and only just over half an hour away…. Beautiful walks by the river Dee and quaint shops and eateries aswell as historical Plas Newyd stately home. Thankyou Jane and Sion for the warm welcome and the treats, we enjoyed our stay 😊 x

Lovely apartment in an excellent location. Had everything we needed. Joe was very friendly and responded quickly to a minor issue within the building which was nothing to do with him. He even left us a bottle of wine the next morning which was a lovely thought. Would definitely stay again.

A beautiful cottage in a quiet remote location, yet within driving distance of the lovely towns of Llandeilo and Llandovery. Very comfortable interior, warm and cosy. Beautiful countryside all around. We recommend Llyn y Fan Fach (lovely walk), the lovely village of Myddfai (nice tea room and church) and Rhandirwmwyn. Had a lovely few days in this gorgeous part of the country. Great hosts. Thank you.

The Chapel in Buckden is in the heart of Wharfdale, this location offers stunning rural beauty and a seamless check-in experience. The views surrounding the Chapel are truly magnificent, enhanced by the nearby Buck Inn pub and numerous walking trails. The Chapel itself is beautifully designed, providing all the comforts and amenities needed for a relaxing stay. It was immaculately clean and well presented. It’s an ideal spot for a peaceful holiday, with easy access to a variety of villages, towns, and attractions. Communication with Antony and Becky was first-rate; they always responded quickly and offered assistance should we ever need it. A complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a delightful touch, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

The chapel was the perfect spot for a chilled and peaceful stay. The building is beautiful and had very comfortable beds and living areas. Ceri provided everything you could need for a longer stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and excellent recommendations for the area were provided. I especially loved that products supplied were eco and a recycling point was available almost next door. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Our stay was wonderful—the most relaxing night we’ve had in Ireland thus far. We were met with an offer of tea, shown to a lovely room with access to the bell tower—perfect for yoga, meditation or reading—then on our own to relax and explore Athlone I had some dietary considerations for breakfast, and our hosts were very kind and accommodating, serving a lovely meal that suited us perfectly. Thoughtful details such as tea upon arrival, great linens, and fantastic decor made our stay in this redone chapel really special, and we appreciated it very much!

Arlene’s home is truly unique. It felt cozy and welcoming after a long day of sightseeing. We used the kitchen to make delicious meals. There is a large grocery store in walkable distance. Queen’s Park across the street was just beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely, cosy double room with ensuite shower room and use of the adjacent kitchen. The room was very quiet with no traffic noise at all, reached up two flights of stairs. Excellent location with lots of cafes and independent shops close by and a swimming pool 2 mins walk away. Great transport links by tram and bus to Princes street and other areas of Edinburgh, including a direct bus to the Pentland hills for fantastic walking. A great place to stay when visiting Edinburgh, we definitely plan to stay again. Kim is very friendly and communicates well. Thank you for a most enjoyable and comfortable stay.

Nice place to stay in London near Westham, Stratford and not too far from Camden. Near Victoria Park and the canals. Own parking and safe space for bikes. Very warm welcome by Leena and wonderful tips for the area. Apartment needs some refurbishing but seemed as if this has been started. A bit more kitchen equipment would habe been nice. But besides it was a fantastic stay!

We all had an amazing stay. The photos do not do the bedrooms justice, they are so much bigger than they look in the photos. Dionese and George were very responsive and also allowed us to have a later check out to enjoy the area some more. The communal area upstairs was fantastic. The kitchen had everything you needed and the large space was perfect for us to chill out and enjoy each others company. We highly recommend and would definitely come back again.

This place was perfect. Ideal location in a lovely village with lots to do in the area. The accommodation had everything you need and more. The bath was great the whole place had a very relaxed luxury feel with great views. We were with a toddler and it was also child friendly. Coop and garage just across the road which was handy.

Jacky is a lovely host, clear instructions were given to us before we arrived along with a thoughtful welcome pack. We had a fantastic stay at Chapel Row. The accomodation was clean, quiet with some nice amenities. The bath and the bed were top notch for relaxation. Lots of walks nearby to entertain ourselves and only a short drive away from Matlock. We had five amazing days as the Old chapel as a family with two kids. It’s such a peaceful place! It’s beautiful decorated and the bathtub and fireplace was our favourite features. Dave and Beth were super helpful and accommodating, with everything from things for the kids like a travel cot etc, to local recommendations, to a great welcome with homemade jam and granola. We really couldn’t falt anything about our stay!:) we will definitely be back!
