Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in British Isles

We had a great time here! The host generously provided us with plenty of free snacks and drinks. She also has an adorable dog, who is very well-behaved and won’t be a bother even if you’re not a pet person. The place can be a little hard to find at first, but the room and shower are both very nice.

I don't give 5* reviews often but Anne's B&B really stood out. The views from Anne's home were amazing, the house was really cosy, fantastic breakfast and a lovely lovely host. Thank you for a great night on our bike journey :-)

What a beautiful home in such a lovely area. Helen is such a lovely lady and gave us such a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Put the kettle on as soon as we arrived and we enjoyed lovely soda bread and cake. Lovely room , warm comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended. We can’t say enough good about Rhoda’s place that would accurately say how good it was! Rhoda was so friendly, wanted to make sure our stay was perfect and was so willing to help us with suggestions and anything else. After a long day I said to my husband “let’s go home” referring to Rhoda’s place. It definitely felt like home to us! You would never be disappointed by staying with Rhoda! We truly loved her and her family! 💕💜💕

Easy to find in a beautiful location. Very cosy room perfect for our family of 3. Joan & her Husband were so friendly and they cooked us the most amazing breakfast. Thank you for being lovely hosts, we will hopefully be back 😊

Deze kamer is ruim en heeft privé sanitair. De omgeving is prachtig en heerlijk rustig. 's morgens was de ontbijttafel gedekt en in de eetkamer stond alles wat je nodig had voor een degelijk ontbijt. De gastdame(en -heer) waren erg vriendelijk, we voelden ons op ons gemak. Dit verblijf is zeker een aanrader!

This was our second stay at Stephanie's place, which speaks to how much we like it! Stephanie is a very friendly and attentive host who makes the experience really enjoyable. She was able to provide covered storage for our bikes to keep them dry overnight, and she provided us with vegan options for breakfast at our request, which we really appreciated.

We had a lovely stay at Janet’s. She was a lovely host and the room was perfect for our needs. Very clean and tidy. Breakfast was lovely, lots of fresh fruit and a good quality cooked breakfast. Great recommendations about things to see nearby too. Thanks for the lovely stay

The stay at Hellen's place was perfect. She is very nice and kind, she cares a lot about her house and you can see it in every details. The room was really comfortable, the breakfast was fresh and tasty. She makes as feel like a part of the family! Thanks Helen! Highly recommended!

Thank you Anne Marie! It was a fabulous stay. You were welcoming, even though we arrived after 10pm. Apologies that we went to the neighbour's door first. Breakfast was brilliant - fresh bread and croissants, and homemade jam and juice. We'd love to come back!

HELEN AND RICK ARE MY HEROES!!!! The house, price, welcome were all perfect. What happened after my original stay was way better than my expectations. I had a nasty fall at Bike Park Wales, which resulted in being at A&E for 8 hours. I live in Kent and called Helen to see if I could stay another night, which she agreed to. I arrived around midnight and Rick (owners husband) got up, made me some food and made sure I was ok. The morning after and Helen gave me some cream for my wounds and helpful advice. Best stay ever and best AirBnB hosts too. If there's any AirBnB award for the best hosts, they deserve it.

Jackie was a friendly yet professional host who maintained her spotlessly clean, gave clear instructions on how to get to the property, what to look out locally to eat and roam around for sight seeing, provided healthy breakfast options and the bed was so comfy. I had a great stay overall and would highly recommend anyone who wants to stay and explore Isle of Anglesey.

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad. Het is een prachtige plek, je merkt aan alles dat de molen met veel liefde en aandacht is gerenoveerd. We voelden ons erg op ons gemak en hebben heerlijk kunnen ontspannen. Het contact met Petra was heel gemakkelijk en hartelijk, ze is een ware gastvrouw. Absoluut een plek om vaker naar terug te komen!

Just wow - Rosie’s place is nothing short of exceptional. The house is decorated so beautifully and the location is completely perfect, just on the river where you can watch birds and otters from the sofa. Rosie put on an amazing breakfast each morning, which was absolutely delicious. We will absolutely come back to this delightful home.

Nous avons adoré séjourner chez Riet et Rik. Le logement est atypique, très propre, bien équipé, paisible et on s'y sent bien. L'accès au cœur de Bruges est à moins de 20 minutes à pieds. Places de parking gratuites à 200 mètres du logement. Nous avons laissé notre voiture 5 jours sans problème. Les hôtes sont sympathiques et charmants. C'était un plaisir de discuter avec Riet et son mari. Les petits déjeuners de Riet sont juste parfaits et différents chaque matin avec de délicates attentions. Merci à vous pour votre accueil ! Nous recommandons ce logement à 200%

Great stay, convenient location close to town which was perfect as we had car issues. Beverley was communicative and clear on everything before and throughout the stay. The house and room itself was very clean, tidy and homy. Beverley and her husband were very friendly, welcoming and generous with their kitchen and lovely garden. Pukka teas an added bonus :) It was easy to add my friend to the booking and no problem switching to 2 single beds. Although the room itself is as little on the small side for 2 with 2 beds none of this came as a surprise as Beverley explained everything clearly and nothing was a problem for us. Good value for money..Finally if you are a dog lover, Herman the Chorkie (daughters dog who visits some days) will steal your heart forever and you won't want to leave him! Thank you will be returning

Really enjoyed our stay with Sharon as we were up surfing in Easkey for a few days! Unbelievably welcoming and friendly family and I couldn't say enough nice things about them and their accommodation! It would be the first place i would consider booking if I am staying up around that direction in the future! Thanks again Sharon!

Saltwater chronicles is an outstanding property . Everything you need is provided. The house is beautiful, private and has stunning views. The bedrooms are beautifully designed, beds are comfortable and each room has its own bathroom. The estate has lovely walks and the coastal walks are stunning. Great service and communication from the team at Dunskey. I would highly recommend

Perfect 1 night stay!! Catherine’s place was exactly what we needed for a nights stay over. We were gundog training and had travelled up 3 hours with our 4 dogs (which Catherine very kindly agreed for us bring) so it was the perfect base for getting some rest and the beautiful breakfast the next morning set us up for the day ahead! Thankyou for a lovely stay! :-)

Ein ganz gemütliches Landhaus, in dem alles vorhanden ist. Großes Grundstück mit vielen Sitzmöglichkeiten, Kamin und beheizter Pool haben für alle Jahreszeiten was zu bieten. Wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Man muss allerdings wissen, dass es innerhalb des Hauses hellhörig ist. Wenn auf der Galerie gelaufen wird, hört man es im Schlafzimmer.

Absolutely obsessed with this place. Not only amazing, with typical Irish landscape, but the room is beautiful, with a lot of space. Bed is comfortable, bathroom is wide. Juliann is the sweetest, talked to us and gave us tips. Amazing breakfast. Felt at home, wanted to stay more. Easy to reach if you are by car. Totally recommend!

Maria and her husband are amazing hosts. They always respond to everything we need and even more - they shared a lot of usefull tips. The place is too cute and cosy, we decide to stay in instead of hiking. The room looks like on a picture and it is super clean. Maria even prepared a gluten free breakfast and snacks for us, much appreciated. In overall this was the best stay from our Scotland trip. Thank you for amazing two days!!!
