This beautiful home has it all. The hosts have thought of everything. The kitchen is well equipped (teabags ext), the draws are all labeled and there is a zip tap with filtered hot/cold water. The living room has a warm and cozy feel with several rugs and blankets and included kids games! The bathrooms include little touches such as dental floss and cotton buds. The bedrooms are all super comfy. There is a super cute garden with secret garden paths leading to a stream running along the boundary. Finally, the home is super close to the local shops, including the famous Alpine Pub. It was impossible not to relax!

My partner and I loved our time at Wombats Rest. Thomas and Maggie were so accomodating and helpful during the process. It’s where I proposed to my now fiancé, it’s such a beautiful place. Thank you so much! Will be back soon ❤️

Thank you Sioux for sharing your beautiful space with us this weekend. We had a wonderful stay at the "Art House", a truly inspiring passive building filled with joy, love and creativity. As someone interested in Architecture and unique/ alternative building methods, it was so impressive to see what Sioux has achieved here. Our stay was quiet and peaceful and we felt like the space was our own. Sioux checked in while passing to ensure everything was going well, if you wanted privacy it was on offer. However, we took the opportunity to chat and spend some more time Sioux, we were keen to learn more about her art and the Art House build and were lucky enough to get the grand tour. We feel privileged to have spent time in this space with Sioux, a lovely, warm, generous and welcoming host. We only wish we had more time to spend here. I hope we make it back at some stage, we would love to explore more of the magic Warburton has to offer. Thank again, Dave, Katherine and Audrey.

We have a lovely stay and would recommend to anyone looking for an easy escape. Katherine has done an amazing job and made sure we felt at home with clear instructions and local recommendations. Highlight for us was sitting by the fire admiring the night sky. Thank you
