Great private location, a few miles from Whitby and at the doorstep of the North York Moors. Diana was responsive, attentive and an all around perfect host! Would definitely stay again!
A charming exterior area is showcased, featuring a pebble pathway leading to a small, modern seating arrangement. A round table with two matching chairs sits on a stone surface, bordered by decorative plants. Large glass doors offer a view of the interior space.

Cosy cottage in Ruswarp, 15 min walk from Whitby

JamesRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Really enjoyed the stay here, the location is fantastic and the village of Ruswarp is incredibly peaceful. The pub nearby was lovely to sit outside and have something to eat and drink. Really short car ride into Whitby too, the smart TV meant we could sit and watch Netflix with the fire going after a day of exploring Whitby. Was also a really nice touch to leave a bottle of Prosecco for us when we arrived. Host was really friendly and helpful and the guidebook recommended a lot of nice things for us to do. The garden is also lovely and we sat and chilled outside in the sun. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely choose to stay here again rather than a hotel. Only thing I would mention is the need for a microwave.

Central Whitby Georgian Apartment, 2pm check in

EleniRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a lovely time in Whitby staying at Scarlet's place. The flat was exceptionally clean and big enough for us two friends sharing it. The location was great, only a few minutes walk to the supermarket, train station and attractions. We cooked a few meals in the kitchen and it was very well equipped for that which was great. In the bathroom shower gel is provided but make sure to bring your own shampoo etc. Would recommend!
A well-appointed bedroom is presented with a plush bed dressed in crisp linens and a textured orange throw. Decorative cushions add subtle contrast. Ambient lighting from a bedside lamp creates a soft glow, while a slanted ceiling provides architectural interest. A framed plant print adorns the wall.

Host & Stay | Uggleby House

SandyRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great home in a wonderful spot to explore Yorkshire. Host was really receptive with an issue we flagged with the fridge on arrival - so thank you! Highly recommend! Only improvement would be to have a few more cups/glasses and plates as tight for a party of 7 including kids, plus we realised only half the hobs were working (not a problem, but good to know) Thanks again for a wonderful stay! Sandy
The shoreline features a gentle beach where individuals walk along the water's edge. In the foreground, a seagull rests on the grass. The pier extends into the calm sea, with a lighthouse positioned at its end and people scattered along the structure.

Rosemary Cottage

Great little place, perfect for a couple of nights for 2. Had everything we needed. Comfy bed, big bath towels. Parking space right outside. OK shower pressure. We were using a a base to drive out and around Whitby and surrounding areas so can't comment on immediate area but perfect for driving into Whitby (10mins), Staithes, Robin Hood's Bay.
