Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Brienz

The house is located in a unique historic village. Definitely go for a walk through the village . The location is great to discover the Versace valley and Lago Maggiore. The historic has been nicely renovated . All the essentials were present. It is a small and cozy house and it was perfect for us as a family for 4 nights ( 2 adults , 1 toddler, 1 dog). You can have dinner outside looking out over the valley. There is a great restaurant located next to the house. It has to be noted that parking was difficult. There is no dedicated parking for the house. One night we had to park 10 minutes down the road. Also, you have to go down quite a few steps to get to the house. Which might a challenge for less mobile people. We also struggled to find the place on the day of our arrival. The location on Airbnb is a few 100 meters off and it seems like all houses are called Rustico. However, Davide was very responsive and showed us in the right direction. Overall we had a great stay.

It was our first family trip to Switzerland and Sabrina’s place was in the perfect spot to see so many different sights. We had a very busy week and everything was within an easy drive. It is located in a quiet residential area with amazing views towards Jungfrau. The house itself is well laid out and has plenty of space. We found it very comfortable. It was a nice surprise to find all the main UK channels were available on the TV to watch in the evening. We have a lot more to see in Switzerland so we will definitely return to Sabrina’s place.

André and Sabine are very welcoming and responsive hosts. They are available and very friendly. The place is impeccable and great to meet when you are in large numbers. The beds were spotless and very comfortable. The lack of TV was not a problem as there are many games for any age and board games. We are delighted with our weekend. Thanks again!

Francoise’s place was perfect for us, two friends travelling. Plenty space which meant we both had our own bed- and bathroom and more than enough space in the kitchen and living room. Very clean and had all amenities we could ask for. Lovely big garden space to make use of, too. I have no hesitation recommending Francoise’s house. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The place was as described and very clean and lovingly furnished. We felt very comfortable and all our expectations were exceeded. Thank you for the great hospitality.

Christine's apartment was fabulous, modern, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, cosy and had comfortable beds. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend it. Just be aware though if you are booking this 6 bed apartment for only 3 or 4 people as we had an issue. We were a party of 2 mothers (in 60's) & 2 sons (in 20's). We were pleased to find this apartment as it had 3 rooms so the mothers could have a room each and sons share twin room. However when we arrived the twin room was locked and unavailable & 2 rooms did not match the listing showing 3. We were very disappointed. Christine did respond quickly and rectified the situation but pointed out she she had provided 4 beds. One mother is an Airbnb host and didn't feel she was very apologetic for the disappointment we had felt. She would have been far more apologetic. However she did not charge us for use of laundry to compensate. we can still thoroughly recommend this lovely apartment.

We liked the place VERY MUCH. Totally stylish and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed. For our children, there were also many ways to linger through the cool rooms, furniture, the swing on the upper floor, the playroom in the attic and the great toys we found in a closet. Only the steep staircase to the upper floor is not so suitable for very small children, as they need companions (open and without railings). The beds were super fresh and very comfortable. The kitchen was tiptop equipped. We felt immediately comfortable, the children were also very enthusiastic. The house is lovingly decorated. Really great. The contact with the hostess was super nice and quick. She always responded within a short time. We came by public transport, so you just have to factor in some time because the nearest bus stop is about 25 minutes away. But that worked. Nice and quiet area, with possibility to go into the forest.

We were there in October with small children. The accommodation offers everything it needs and is very warmly furnished, with a lot of attention to detail. Right on the first day, Alessandra's father came by with a welcome gift. He was very warm and helpful. The large garden with the fireplace and a breathtaking view was the highlight. The kitchen is very well equipped. We cooked delicious dishes every day. There are a lot of toys in the house, for children of all ages. The village is very and authentic. We were able to see various wildlife in the area. A beautiful valley that has something mystical about it at this time of year. The steep slopes with countless waterfalls, the colored leaves and the morning bubble rising out of the woods. Scenic villages on the southern slopes. Perfect to get away from the hustle and bustle. Nice apartment with good location, right at ski bus stop. Access to extensive ski resort

The location is ideal, conveniently close to Zürich's main station and the bus stop, making it easy to embark on trips. It's also within walking distance of tram stations and surrounded by excellent restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment itself was spacious, well-maintained, and comfortable. The hosts were supportive as well. All in all good experience.

Nice & cozy place to stay. Comfortable beds. Top equipped (even table grill & fondue dishes available). Grocery stores and gondola very close. Thermal bath (Hotel Nendaz) is also very close. Heinz responds quickly to questions & is very friendly. We had a very enjoyable stay - thank you!

Julien's apartment was exactly as expected with such beautiful views of the mountains as a bonus. Communication from Julien was super effective. Our stay was in winter but I would recommend all year round.

Cozy accommodation and very well equipped. We appreciated its comfort. Alina is a very responsive, available and caring host. Maybe we'll come back to that someday.

Janine’s place was very conveniently located as less than 5 mins walk from Interlaken West train station. Also has two big stores like Migros and Aldi within walking distance. It was a very peaceful and private place. The view from the balcony was the best feature of the house.

We had a very good experience during our stay. Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome from Annemarie, who is very kind. The house was cosy and very clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, making us feel right at home. We did forget our EU to Swiss adapter, and surprisingly found one in the house, (and it was holiday season) The property had all the necessary amenities, so we didn't feel like anything was missing throughout our stay. Additionally, the location was perfect—very close to Interlaken—which made exploring the area easy and convenient. I would definitely recommend this place to others and would love to come back in the future.

Had a great stay, was easy to find and check in. For us the location was perfect, with an amazing view. For us as hikers we loved the area.

Lauren was a great host and communicated quickly and well. The chalet was perfect for the 6 of us - 2 adults, 4 teenagers - for a three day skiing trip. Close to Ski Terminal serving greater Jungfrau Ski area, and close to centre of town for restaurants and bars and shops. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook when required. In summary, it was the perfect ski chalet base, and we will certainly use again. Thank you Mark and Family

The stay at Patrizia's apartment was excellent. Especially the communication, the tidy impeccable apartment as well as the two large and cozy balconies were great. The somewhat outdated coffee machine may no longer meet today's needs. However, I was amazed at how good the coffee tasted and this without capsules. We'd love to be back in Patrizia's apartment.

House close to the historic center (free parking a few minutes away by foot). We really appreciated the brightness and great organization. Nice to find everything you need when you want to experience the house, from bath products to essentials in the kitchen (oil, salt, etc.). The precise and convenient recycling of waste is also called for. Perfect for visiting the area or skiing in the surrounding areas. Ezio and Katia were extremely kind in agreeing on an early check-in time.
