Jill's Chalet Boden is a real gem. The space was comfortable with everything we needed, and plenty of space for 4 people. The views were all beautiful, ranging from picturesque views of the wooded hill to breathtaking views of the mountains and the town in the valley below. The town is cute without being touristy, and the townspeople are very friendly. There's a lot to do within driving distance. Milan and Lake Come are a little over an hour away. Lago Maggiore, along with a couple of smaller and less touristy, though no less beautiful, lakes are a 15 minute drive. I only have two caveats. First, it's not handicapped accessible. The path to the house from the road, while short and not particularly arduous, would be unnavigable for my 87 year old mother, which is a shame as she would absolutely adore this place. You also need a car. Public transportation isn't really an option. But if you can walk reasonably well and have a car, Chalet Boden is amazing. A week wasn't enough.

Staying in your Baita was exactly what we wanted! The location and views are truly stunning. There is an incredible tranquility, only the creek and the animals can be heard. A perfect place to slow down and let nature take over. Very authentic and simple, and yet basics such as hot water and stove are available. The fact that you could make a fire in the house was particularly nice for us, also the heating of the water with fire was a great experience. Thank you, Claudio e Patrizia, for letting us stay in your beautiful cabin - we'd love to come back!

We stayed at Casa Bosco for the third time. The bright cottage is located on a large, beautifully planted property in the forest. The terrace offers a breathtaking view over the lake. We arrived late and were received courteously. The fire burned in the fireplace. Everything we needed for the stay was there. We will be back!

We found a very quiet, quaint area and immediately felt transported to another time. The fireplace has a homely atmosphere and we enjoyed playing in front of it and also cooked something on it. The chalet is very nice. The hostess was very friendly and easy to reach. We are very grateful to have had a nice time there with our children. The view of the beautiful mountains was failed due to the bad weather, but every now and then we were able to enjoy it. From the apartment you can't see very much of the mountains, but if you are good on foot you can enjoy the mountains from there.

A charming house, located in a perfect location in contact with nature. Luca was an exceptional guest, always kind, helpful and quick to respond. A truly fascinating city, waiting to be discovered. Luca also left us many useful tips for visiting the area: we tried the restaurant L’Oca d 'Oro, where the sandwiches were really delicious and at a great price. A beautiful and cozy place.

Nicola, the owner's son, was very nice. He always helped us with questions. We have two points that were not quite great for us, on the one hand the location. The little streets up to Segna are really hard to master for a big car and secondly the fireplace was broken on the first two days. That was really cold at the end of September without another heat source, but Nicola quickly fixed it. Otherwise, everything was really great!

"A magical place" ✨ Alois is a welcoming and caring host, very responsive and available before and during the stay. His place is very well arranged, tidy and clean, it fully matches the description of the listing. The photos made available on the construction of the chalets made us discover the progress of the work, the beauty and therefore the merit of the 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, Bravo! We were surrounded by trees 🌳 and mountains as far 🏔 as the eye can see, it's just beautiful to see. It is a peaceful, quiet, relaxing and disconnecting place for everything you were looking for. Not to mention the spectacle of setting and sunrise over the cottage every day with its large balcony and large bay windows... really soothing! There is the possibility to walk easily, to visit the Sessa gold mine, to eat in restaurants in the nearest city without any worries. I would recommend it closed! Thank you Alois

Simone's house is even more beautiful than in the pictures, the location is fantastic, quiet, in the middle of nature and the view simply magnificent. We felt very comfortable during the week. Simone is very warm and open-minded and provided us with a number of good tips. You can find pure relaxation here and still get to the highlights on the lake quickly on foot.

There were five of us. There was enough room for everyone. Very quiet and distant location just like we wanted it. The view is unparalleled. Great opportunities for hiking. Easily accessible by car although everything is on the mountain. Everything clean, enough wood for heating, gas stove, grill used. 👍 If you are looking for a very quiet and distant place, highly recommended.

The Rustico is beautifully embedded in the wild nature of the Onsernone Valley. The hike to the Rustico is magical. The Rustico is very tasteful and practically furnished. You have everything you need in the house. Also around the house you will find many nice places to linger in addition to a barbecue area and garden shower. We would come back anytime! A wonderful and unforgettable experience! Thanks to the great hosts!

One standout feature is the driver service, which made exploring the surrounding area a breeze. This service was a game-changer, allowing us to relax fully and experience more of the region’s charm. A little paradise in the Ticino mountains!!! We were allowed to enjoy a fantastic time high above Lake Maggiore and far away from the big hustle and bustle on the Cimetta. Even the arrival is unique, with a gondola and chairlift you can reach the Cimetta mountain station in a half hour, from where you can walk to the house in 10 minutes. The beautiful little cottage is well equipped and invites you to relax. It has everything you need on site. The kitchen is very well furnished, even basic food such as spices, oil and vinegar are available. We were able to prepare delicious menus, which we enjoyed at the typical Ticino stone table in front of the house and stayed well-protected until late at night. The fantastic view and the sweet highland cattle, which graze in front of the house make the place special special. Prisca is a great Superhost! She is very eager to make the stay for her guests as possible. For our 1 year old family member she even brought up a cot, high chair, as well as baby crockery and toys. Thank you so much for everything, dear Prisca. We would love to come back!!!

Rustic in the Mountains of Rima

We really enjoyed the two weeks in the newly expanded, functionally equipped Rustico of Camillo and appreciated the seclusion, tranquility and mountain views from the terrace. Camillo welcomed us in a very straightforward and friendly way, gave us great tips in the area for excursions and explained everything in the house (e.g. pellet heating, gas cartridges for kitchen and hot water). The amenities are as described in the listing, well-equipped kitchen, large fridge, and freezer with 3 drawers, espresso maker, oven. Toilet on the ground floor is very high quality, shower/WC on the 1st floor a bit older date, small but functional. The access road is narrow, but can be driven very well with normal PW, has alternative spots again and again. Parking on the street about 80m away, unloading the luggage closer possible, short distance to the house via meadow and plates easily feasible. During our presence it had only one, very quiet neighbors.

We had a wonderful 5 night stay in this beautifully restored cottage right in the centre of the village. The cottage is really clean and comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home for a great stay. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony taking in the spectacular views. The heating was brilliant and we loved having wood for the fire. The hosts were super helpful and check in was very easy with clear instructions. The village is peaceful and there are some beautiful walks to do as well a great museum to visit to learn about the history of the valley. We met some great local people. We’d love to stay again!

We spent 3 days on New Year's Eve 2025. Three families with kids. We had a great time. Lara welcomed us warmly at check-in and gave us all the directions to better manage the house, including a stove, jacuzzi and Finnish tub. Clean and complete environments. Super equipped kitchen and bathrooms. Spotless and comfortable rooms. Various children's games and books for moments of relaxation; availability of Sky, Netflix and Disney+. Wood and barbecue available. Priceless view of Lake Como from one side and the mountain on the other side. Great location: quite isolated to be quiet and not to bother anyone but still 5 minutes from the center of the village; less than 10 minutes away we found a very well-stocked shopping center. Really great and recommended experience, to try again in summer with the possibility of also using the outdoor pool. GREAT

The accommodation and Michela are simply great. It is just important that you are aware of a few points. The accommodation is not in Como City. They is above Como on a hill. The roads to the accommmodation are narrow and rocky. The accommodation is located in the forest and animals also live there. Some of them are active at night. It is the perfect place for guests who just want to switch off and enjoy nature and don't need 5G net. I would not recommend this place for city people. A huge thank you again to Michela for the wonderful time. The little boy also really enjoyed it. He still talks about this vacation every day. We hope of a next time with you and your dogs. Authentically renovated rustic house, where we felt very comfortable even on rainy days. The property is equipped with everything you need. The house warms up quickly with the wood-burning stove and is very comfortable. Hosts Sandro and Petra are extremely helpful. The location in Selma is centrally located in the valley and is a good starting point for hikes or family time on the river. We will be happy to come back.
