Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Breukelen

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Cozy and clean country house, with a view of a windmill within walking distance. Large living room, new kitchen. Appreciated the presence of coffee, oil, salt, pepper, body soap, etc. The pigs and the dog are very sociable, even with children, for whom there are also swings, rocking chairs, elastic carpets. Esther and Erik were very kind, helpful, and reserved. Relaxing and highly recommended stay!

The house was lovely - nicely decorated and very clean, and Karin the host was very welcoming and met us on arrival to show us around. The house has 1 bedroom and then another 2 beds outside the bedroom on the mezzanine. It was an ideal size for us and our 2 teenagers. The stairs are a bit steep so not suitable for very little children. The location is ideal for the tulip fields and Keukenhof is a must visit. The beach is a short drive away and the town can be reached via a 20 minute walk. We had a lovely short trip and enjoyed our stay here.

This is the second time we have stayed at Nicolien's. We find the house and location great as it easy to get to many places from there. There was an issue with the road leading in to the park (all resolved now) so Nicolien met us at the alternative carpark and helped us with our luggage. Nicolien is extremely responsive and is always happy to help with recommendations. She told us about the This is Holland attraction in Amsterdam which we then booked. It was the highlight of our children's trip (10,11&13), especially after visiting the very moving Anne Frank Museum. We used the P&R to get to Amsterdam (parking for the day and return on the Metro for less than €16 for 5 people!). We had another fantastic week and Nicolien really helped make it wonderful for all of us! Thank you Nicolien!

We had amazing time and our stay was perfect! We enjoyed everything what the place offers, the nature, peaceful time, cosy house and beautiful garden where our dog was very happy. Alan was very friendly, helpful and we felt very welcome. We hope we will come to visit again in the future! :)

Nice cottage in the middle of nature. (woods) House was clean and everything present. Spent a few nice days on the Veluwe, cycled a lot and walked, so had beautiful weather!!! Certainly subject to repetition.

Great place to stay. We stayed as a family for a week. Harmke was super friendly and welcomed us warmly. Messages and questions were answered super quickly. The trampoline was the highlight for the kids. With children, you can do a lot around here. Great place to relax. Thanks again for everything! :-)

We spent the Easter weekend here with 6 adults and 3 children. Everything was there No wishes for the accommodation were left unfulfilled. For families with small children, it should be said that there is no playground or similar on the premises, but this has nothing to do with the house or the hosts. The bike paths around the house are a dream. Thank you for this opportunity to spend family time.

Tiny House was a lovely stay for our family! We’re travelling with 2 kids aged 5 and 2 so it can be a bit tricky booking somewhere that works, but this was a really nice stay for all of us. Rik was really friendly and responsive before and during our stay. Everywhere was clean, lots of thoughtful things like spare bags for shopping, ground coffee, toys for kiddos and the little ones got to feed the chickens and pig too - they loved it. We were going to head into Amsterdam but we ended up staying there for the day. There were some lovely hyacinth and tulip fields nearby, we got to bask in the pretty suntrap garden and as an added bonus we got to see the bloemencorso float by the house in the evening - we were all suitably impressed. Thanks Rik for a thoughtfully appointed and relaxing stay, would definitely recommend Tiny House for travellers with children.

Dear landlord, We had a wonderful stay at your place over Easter. The house was very clean, the amenities very extensive and the location of the vacation home simply indescribably located directly by the forest. Everything very quiet. Can only recommend it.

We had a lovely time. When we arrived, we had trouble finding the place, we got the wrong entrance, but after finding the right place, with Joke's instructions, we finally found the place. It matched the description given and everything you need is available on site. Very good location, quiet and peaceful. We had an electricity problem and Joke was very responsive to help us. We couldn't have electricity for 2 days but joke helped us find solutions so we could still live in the accommodation. In the end, we managed to get the electricity back on the last night. Despite this problem we were able to enjoy our stay. We recommend Joke and her place. Thank you👍. 🙂

Private comfortable villa very clean highly recommended a pleasant contact and responds very quickly

It is one of the most beautiful AirBnbs I have ever stayed in. It is so chic, so trendy, so tasteful and Beau is the best host. She was always responsive, was very flexible with the Check-In, because we stuck in traffic. Beau’s place is amazing. I’ve been there with my husband and my parents for a short trip to the Netherlands to see the Bloemencorso. You get everywhere real quick and having the beach just a short drive or a 15 mins walk away is amazing. Everything looks exactly like the pictures and the kitchen is well equipped to have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the most beautiful table. Thanks for everything Beau, if we come back to Noordwijk we will definitely stay at your beautiful house again. Best, Lena

Beautiful nature nearby, friendly host, clean, perfect for a short getaway

We had 9 wonderful days in the bungalow. It's all as described and as shown in the pictures. We felt immediately comfortable, the garden was very nice and since it was warm for a few days, we could use the garden nicely. The area is super beautiful, it was very quiet and the forest for walking nearby was just fantastic. Barbara was always available when I had a question.

This cottage in the woods near Lunteren is perfect for 8 people. Nice spacious living room. 2 bathrooms and 3 toilets are in it. The kitchen has all the comforts and sufficient service and cutlery. The beautifully screened garden has a seating area, a wood-fired hot tub and a lovely sauna. From the park, you can walk into the woods for a nice walk. All in all a nice location in a nice place. The host is easy to reach and quick to answer your questions.

Great Location - near to the beach, many restaurants and shopping - Off Site Parking 15 EUR per night, acceptable for the region - 5min walk to the suggested parking area

My two children and I felt very comfortable in Sjeela's apartment. We enjoyed the quiet location, the small garden, the beach and the way there very much. The nearby tulip fields were also a dream.

I had booked this as a little solo birthday getaway with my dog, and wow, we enjoyed it! Beautiful surroundings, with easy access to the hiking trails and a few dining spots (very nice for me without a car). Everyone in the village was super friendly and welcoming. I look forward to coming back in the summer, when everything is beautifully green! Thank you, Eva, for letting us stay in this little piece of paradise.
