In the heart of Bretteville, you can enjoy wonderful hikes on our trails and take advantage of the sea, just 200 meters away. The bike path runs along the foot of the house and leads to Cherbourg (7 km) and its surrounding area. A small, peaceful getaway for visiting the Cotentin peninsula, Barfleur (one of the most beautiful villages in France), and the first D-Day landing beach, which is a 30-minute drive away. Our gîte has a sunny garden with everything you need to grill and enjoy a peaceful stay.

Nestled in the heart of the typical village of Judea, you will be at the start of hiking trails (GR223 and close to the beach). Located at the end of the village, you'll find peace and quiet. You can also visit the Cité de la Mer (aquarium, submarine, Titanic exhibition...), the Montaigu la Brisette animal park (10 min from the cottage), you will be close to the Cotentin and Bessin marshes, the Sortosville-en-Beaumont biscuit house.
