It is located in the municipality of Bretenoux, very close to the Château de Castelnau, in the Dordogne Valley in the Lot department, and close to many tourist attractions. At the end of the street you will find a supermarket, and 200 meters further on is the town center of Bretenoux, where you will find a newspaper stand, bakery, pharmacy, tobacconist, brasserie, bank, beautician, etc. Municipal swimming pool and cinema a 5-minute walk away.

Superb house like no other in the Dordogne valley: on the square of a listed village, built in the 15th century, wood panelling from the 18th century, giant stone staircase and stone walls, big fireplaces... A lot of history packed in a spacious (1700 ft 2) house equipped with all the modern conveniences. Large bedrooms with each its bathroom. Ideally located to visit the area, Padirac, Rocamadour... Also close to shops and restaurants. Bed linen, towels, wifi and cleaning fees included.

Charming cottage on the banks of the Dordogne

Old farmhouse completely restored in Girac in the LOT. Pleasant, comfortable and relaxing, the cottage is located in a quiet and peaceful environment, terrace overlooking the banks of the Dordogne, large wooded and enclosed grounds, boulodrome, bed linen included, towels extra (€5 per person) Free Wi-Fi (fiber) access. Access to the Dordogne is 500 meters from the cottage. Rated 3* furnished tourist accommodation since 2012. The cottage is not suitable for PRM standards.

We live in a very touristy area in the Dordogne Valley, and within a 30 km radius you can visit Autoire, Carennac, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Loubressac all classified as "Most Beautiful Villages of France". You can also walk to Argentat, Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Bretenoux, Martel, Saint-Céré, as well as Rocamadour or Padirac, and still admire the castles of Castelnau-Prudommat, Montal or Saint-Laurent-les-Tours. Nothing but wonders.
