The apartment is very conveniently located near a grocery store, 10 or so minutes to walk to the river, and 15 or 20 minutes to walk to the city center. There’s also a tram stop very close by. The laundry is located in Susanne’s office next door, but if you want to do laundry on your own schedule there are two laundromats about 10 minutes away on foot. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. The oven is a combination microwave and oven that goes up to 190 C, but we were able to modify cooking times and use the oven for roasting vegetables and cooking other foods that normally would be cooked at a higher temperature. Over all, we had a lovely stay at Klaus and Susanne’s apartment.

The stay was really great. I was only in Bremen for a week and immediately felt at home. The apartment is perfect for one person, you have everything you need, it is very bright, in a beautiful old building and overall very quiet. Due to the location in the small side street, you also do not notice the larger streets and are still 5 minutes from the tram and 10 minutes from the train station. Otherwise, the city center and the neighborhood are also within walking distance, or you can take the time and stroll through the many small streets in the area. And if I had any questions or was missing something, Beate responded very quickly and looked to see if something suitable could be found in the house. So overall a really nice holiday week. (Maybe still relevant for allergy sufferers: you will be greeted in the morning from time to time by a sweet but shy cat in front of the house or apartment door)

really clean, nicely presented, well equipped and comfortable apartment. very comfortable bed and great shower! central location, good for exploring Bremen, either on foot or public transport. shops, supermarket and restaurants all near by. hosts very friendly and informative.
