The remodelled side house of Papenwohld is a unique house that provides perfect condition for a relaxing getaway in nature or a creative retreat. The old romantic, sun flooded house offers diverse use from individuals to large creative groups or families. Papenwohld is the home of the Papenwohld Artist Residency - a non-profit art project founded and run by the hosts. Everything from music festivals, yoga and horse workshops to concerts and art exhibitions have been celebrated here.

On-site amenities include high-speed Wi-Fi, a TV, a fan, a washing machine, a dryer and a coffee machine. Your private outdoor area includes a garden, 2 open terraces and a barbecue. Our cozy apartment is located on the ground floor of a well-kept semi-detached house in a quiet residential area. The terrace belonging to the apartment with a view of the countryside is used for relaxation. Located at the "great width" of the Schlei, the surroundings invite you to explore. It takes less than 15 minutes to walk there. Located in the middle of the beautiful cities of Eckernförde and Schleswig, all possibilities are open to you.

Located at the narrowest point in Germany, this gem, an 180-year-old, thatched-roof Geestlanghaus, is in a quiet, secluded location with free parking, 10 minutes from the A7. Young couples with toddlers, solo travelers, tourists on their way to the north or south, painters looking for seclusion, pianists (grand piano available!), writers and other creatives, bird lovers and lovers of the seas are welcome in our small gallery!

Our cozy 12 sqm guest house is newly renovated and equipped with two sofa beds (140 × 200), fridge, coffee maker, kettle and toaster. Linens and towels are provided. The cabin is thermally insulated, but has NO HEATING and NO KITCHEN. No heaters of any kind or hotplates may be operated. 15 m away is a new bathroom in the annex which is available to you. Garden table and chairs, garden loungers and grill are available.

The house, the large terraces and the garden offer space to play and relax in any weather.

Ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours near Schleswig! Located between Schlei and Hüttener Bergen - each only about 5 km away. The Selker Noor with its own swimming area is only 3.4 km away, and the Viking village of Haitabu, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also very close, as are Gottorf Castle, Schleswig Cathedral and the harbor. It is also only 20 km to Eckernförde Bay!
