Cottage vacation rentals in Breerivier

We stayed in the Tango cottage at De Wilge for three nights in late April as part of our family trip to the Nuy Valley, Worcester, and Robertson. We were so impressed by Amanda, our hostess, who was warm, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the area… She made excellent recommendations for local outings and she was so kind and welcoming! My wife loved the cottage’s beautiful and tasteful décor and our teenager couldn’t get enough of the hot tub and the stunning mountain views. All in all, a wonderful place to kick back, relax, and unwind. Thank you for having us, Amanda!

A get away we didn’t know we needed. We spent two nights, and we are looking forward to going back. The breakfasts baskets are lovely, the staff are friendly, the cottage is stunning and the surroundings are so very pretty.

What a wonderful unexpected stay. Perfectly located with breathtaking surroundings/ well planned house with everything and more you could possibly need. This is really the perfect stay if you want a break away from the city. The farm was quiet, and private. The hot tub and indoor fireplace was the highlight to add that cosiness to a good winter holiday. The cottage was well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Madri was also a great host and easy to reach when needed.

Lovely place to stay. Great for two legged and your legged kids! and very convenient location.

We had a lovely stay in the Firefly rondawel. Frog Mountain is absolutely beautiful and completely surpassed our expectations. We loved every moment. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!

By far one of the best experiences ever. Basically you will live like farmer. The facility was comfortable and clean little bet cold but Henk (the host) provide wood for heating. Highly recommend. I will visited again

We spent a very pleasant time at Braam's Rosehaven Cottage. The host was very friendly and accommodating, and the house was clean, neat and really homely.....loved the wood burning stoves in the kitchen and living area. The beds were well provided for the cold, and, gasp! they even had top sheets, which are sadly lacking at a lot of places. Lovely little touches all over, like flowers in vases and good quality, health conscious cleaning materials available. Thank you.

What a hidden gem! Steenbok Farm Cottages in Wolseley is the perfect escape for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. Beautifully maintained cottages, breathtaking mountain views, and such a tranquil farm atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone needing a countryside getaway! See you soon for our Honeymoon!

Good location for Hermanus centre and easy drive to main beach. Properties was great

We had the loveliest stay at 360 on 62. The cottage is quaint and beautifully styled with antique furniture and thoughtful finishes. We especially loved soaking in the hot tub under the stars – absolutely magical! It's a great base for exploring the Langeberg area, with plenty to do nearby. The honesty shop is such a charming touch too. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely, peaceful and restful stay. It was quiet, beautiful views and scenery. The cottage was very well equipped, clean snd super cosy. We slept well too. We loved the comfy dining chairs the most, could sit and read in them all day, with that stunning view infront on you. We'd recommended to anyone looking to escape a busy life for a few days.

We had a wonderful stay at Lonette’s place. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The aircon and pool were lovely as it was super hot! Our dog was also welcome which was an extra bonus! Lonette’s communication was excellent and check-in was easy. Thank you, Lonette!

My boyfriend and i went here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations, the best cabin we have been to yet! Absolutely breathtaking and such a beautiful place to go and relax.

Perfect getaway spot in beautiful Hermanus! The location is fantastic –private, and close to town (walking distance). The firewood hot tub was such a treat, and the host was incredibly welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend!

Runette’s cottage was exactly as listed. She was friendly and responsive. There are hiking trails close by. You can walk to the trails along the hills and the coast from her cottage. Lots of restaurants nearby. We would definitely stay again. Thanks, Micheal

A few extra touches made us feel very welcome. The electric blankets were left on, the fireplace was set up, but the most memorable were the two Vetsaks which were like lounging in a cloud! The greeting from the peacocks was unique!

Such Beautiful cottage with large yard to enjoy well drinking your morning coffee. Staying there really added to our wonderful relaxing few days in Caledon.

Beautiful house where we immediately felt at home. Everything looked exactly like in the pictures. The garden was very nice with an amazing pool, the kids loved to run around. The Communication with the host was very good, fast and helpful. The house is located next to some small nice local deli’s, and restaurants and bakeries within walking distance. We really recommend this place!

Ferdi and Melissa’s place exceeded all of our expectations! They went over and above to accommodate our needs and situation. This place is better than the pictures. And the location is prime! We would stay here again 10 times over. Ferdi helped with the fireplace on multiple occasions. If you’re staying in the winter, the only thing might be that there is no central heat, however, the fireplace is just the perfect touch for the place. If you’re looking for a high level stay with high level hosts and picturesque views, then this is the place for you!

Emilia’s cottage was beautiful, we felt right at home and loved the garden and peaceful setting. The cottage was very comfortable and just the right amount of space for us. Its location was also excellent, just a very short walk to the coast and restaurants. Emilia and Alan were wonderful hosts, very friendly and we enjoyed meeting one of the dogs! We would love to return next time we come to Hermanus!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful place & space Vo & Moses and the rest of your gang. We absolutley loved staying in it - it was the perfect place for our group of 7. The house was big enough for us not to be tripping over each other, but also small enough to still be cozy and comfortable. Thank you for checking in on us like you did, and for sharing all that you did. The property is incredible, and being out on the deck that overlooks the river, with a cup of coffee in the early morning is a must! The house was freezing - but once the fore was lit and we'd had a glas of red wine - we were all good :) Beds were comfortable, and the electric blankets made night times very pleasant. The house is an easy walk into town - and very well located. We'd definitley stay here again - especially with a group of friends.
